  1. Trump appointed establishment Republicans because he is stupid (optimistic)
  2. Trump appointed establishment Republicans because he is an establishment Republican and never intended to deliver (realistic)

I know this is bait and you're larping, but he didn't. He plagiarized the term from Andrew Breitbart; the term was originally supposed to mean conservatives around 2010 who were not neocons or of the Moral Majority; think RazorFist, for example.

Ironically, it's most humane for the executioner as well. Because it's done by a group, no one knows who shot the bullet that actually killed the guy, allowing for all of them to think it was someone else.

True. The first Alt-Right group I joined said it was for 'right-wingers who do not support the dominant right-wing party, i.e. the Conservatives in the UK and the Republicans in the US'. That's the point that Bannon said that Breitbart was 'the platform for the Alt-Right'. Then Spencer came out and said that 'Alt-Right means white nationalist' and the media retconned it as 'Nazi'.

I'm Alt-Right by the former definition but I'm no supporter of Spencer's National Socialism. National Socialism is just a particularly nasty variant of Socialism.
