They don't have national leadership or any type of chain of command or standards of membership, you just call yourself antifa and there is no official antifa organization that can say you aren't. Some of the groups are definitely in contact with each other but generally it's the more radical groups commingling which only really exist in a few areas. Truth is most "antifa" groups are just Twitter shitposters. It's the mirror image of "boogaloo." Some of them form groups that are legit active and threatening but most of them are just LARPers who will occasionally show up to protests in costume but otherwise are all talk. The feds are all over the active ones.
