I think there's something to be said about how, biologically, girls are "ready" to have children at that age. There's also the saying that women don't mentally progress past the age of 18, which is sort of true. Do I think that the age of consent should be lowered? No. 16-18 is basically ideal for a functioning society. I think if you lowered the age of consent to 10 you open the door to really weird shit. Like the type of stuff that happens in Moslem countries, look it up it's disturbing.

Maybe that was the better one to say. Boys learn to control their emotions by the age of 18 (although that's an increasingly decreasing number as our society encourages men to "express themselves" and generally act more like women).

If the argument against communism is: anyone who wants to rule society should not be allowed to rule society because they're probably utopian totalitarian types, how is this argument not also a point against democracy?
