It's obviously gross, but in the grand scheme of things this isn't even remotely out of character for Ralph or even remotely unique to him. Beating your pregnant girlfriend is practically a trash people hobby. A Russian dude killed his like 3 days ago and streamed her corpse for a few hours. That said, on the 0.000001% chance cops do give Ethan a beatdown, I'd love it. Not because he especially deserves it for some particularly unique or heinous act.
