Just watched Ollie's previous persona's graduation and it was so sad. I kinda get why the talents are not supposed to link to their old activities, but I do hope that her fans all see that she is still going.

Half an hour into the Ame/Calli Halo collab and... Ame is really bad at Halo. Like, one step above "girlfriend who can't handle two-thumbstick movement and keeps looking straight up or down" level.

They're using m+k. She's constantly running low on ammo while barely hitting anything, using the AR at range (or at all), forgetting that she has a second weapon, not reloading between fights, not taking cover, etc.

I wouldn't really call it an obsession, but I am interested to hear in their past careers and what they did before joining their current agency, so I can see "Oh, so that's what they were like before. Yeah, that makes sense." One thing that's interesting for Karen (at least to me) is tracking how she's evolved her career over time. Some of her original tracks as Dice were very...vitriolic against certain aspects of the music industry and Japanese culture, along with just straight shitposting like with Gang Gang Kawaii. Then they started to get more introspective about her personal struggles. Then she became Calliope and the same thing kinda happened so she never left that personality facet behind, but her lyrics now are much more confident and focused in a different direction, but some of her work still very much is rooted in Dice, like making a rap about bread or Cursed Night.

I came here just to talk more frankly about vtubers without having to worry about draconian discord mods or the wrath of T-chan and ended up just finding out interesting stuff about some of the girls I had followed before the EN crew; it's cool information but not necessarily what I'm here for. I will agree that people who come here for the sole purpose of learning the doxx are kind of scummy. It happens in reddit communities as well, but there people providing the doxx get assblasted over it, and rightfully so. If you're gonna go to a place, follow its fucking rules. I think people just come here for easy namedrops and face doxxes since KF and 4chan are kind of lawless but at least KF has a clean interface to look at. 4chan gives me a headache trying to make any sense of it and I actively used the site about 15 years ago.

Speaking of that, I'm trying to make sense of this shit here. Anyone who follows keeki got the rundown on it? I don't doubt the "one year visa" thing but I have extreme doubts about her being a Olympic participant or having something to do with working at the event in any official capacity.

Dunno if it was her first Crash or if it happened again recently, but I’m pretty sure the “Get it together, Karen” namedrop was edited out. Your assumption on postgame yab is correct.

Being able to have mods hovering the thread waiting to delete shit is both a blessing and a curse, because they can suppress the worst doxxes, but they can’t be online all the time so inevitably something gets through. Dunno the impact of Gurapycolpse so far, gonna be monitoring the next few days.

My impression from that stream was that it was only a replacement topic, as in "I don't want to talk about what I really came to Japan for so, uh, it's for the Olympics and I represented Australia". I may be completely wrong about this though.

You can make 4chan a lot more accessible as well as giving it a ton of useful QoL features using 4chan X. This extension and another one that also makes it a bit more stylized called OneeChan are still well maintained today. In particular with 4chan X you have much better auto-updating (I usually do 10 second intervals on /jp/ for vtuber threads, though the rest of the board is generally much slower) and archive redirection which lets you see deleted posts/threads.

That would require Calli to go through the trouble of actually changing her Xbox Live credentials, which someone would have to take the time and walk her through. It would also require her to know that's something she can change, for free at that, without someone pointing her in the right direction.

I mean, even you keep phrasing yourself unsurely about it being a randomly generated gamertag. Can confirm that it is. Xbox Live always gives randomly generated gamertags to people who JUST start using it. That's been a thing in previous GFWL games for years. Most people who have to use stupid Xbox Live integration of some sort don't tend to realize this is the case.

The loading screens show them both being set to M+KB input. When Halo 4 launched, MCC got updated to display players' chosen input method next to their gamertags.

I believe that was the joke, she danced around it pretty well. I was wondering what she was actually there for; my guess is to try to find more idol work. Her life as keekihime had similar visa related issues so that's what I'm going off of. Girl desperately wants to be a jpop idol so I guess she got her wish in a very roundabout way.

I never used XBL or GFWL so I wasn't sure. I know you can have something auto-generate but I thought it was something you did when creating the account, like you go in and say "Set a username or hit this button to have one generated for you." I doubt BaysideTooth750 would be something she chose for herself, so it was more or less did she just cycle through random shit until she found one and said "Yeah that's fine."

On the first one: that is the second time she's namedropped herself. I understand Karen's a very busy lady but she really needs sort her shit out if she wants to keep doing this. I'd hate for this to keep happening. I'll crosscheck my sources on this one just to make sure though, since that first one someone said definitely was the guy fuckin with me.

On the second: that is really dumb, because we have heard real voices quite a few times, especially when the girls start streaming immediately after waking up or if someone gives them a call to actually wake them up. It happened to Towa a while back with Roboco, with her incredibly deep normal voice coming out. Hell, Risu spent an entire stream in her natural tone, prefacing it with "I'm going to speak using this voice because it's been a long day," implying she'd been doing the performative Risu voice for a while and would rather just have a normal free talk. Kiara could have completely played it off as her being tired and that being her "sleepy" voice, and it also isn't the first time we've heard it either. Calliope was wrapping up her stream of Yakuza when she showed up, had no idea Calli was still live, and failed at putting on her performative voice as she came in the door.
