Not completely buying that Ralph choked her. If Faith's proven anything, other than having shit taste in men, it's that she's a manipulative liar who will scream abuse the millisecond it will benefit her. None of the leaked chatlogs between her and ralph made explicit mention of it either. I'm willing to bet it's probably an exaggeration at best.

Other than that one issue, the rest of these logs are absolutely fascinating. Ralph exhibited zero concerns for her mental state, brushing it off as nothing more than negativity, while essentially trying to bludgeon her into accepting his demands (because that's what they are) by inferring that it was his way or the highway because he wouldn't be able to put up with her shit otherwise. He's fair and reasonable though, if she accepts he will pay more attention to her needs (which implies he doesn't now) and that he will consider drinking less (so much for not having a problem...) He really is a complete piece of work. Zero tact. nothing more than surface level concern for her physical wellbeing, and sweet fuck all concern for her mental wellbeing. That's not even to mention what wonderful definition of 'loyalty' he must have, considering how much he brandishes that like an axe to his friends and foes alike.

Truly a fascinating man in an equally fascinating situation. I'd say an oscar winning film could be written about his saga, but that would require *some* type of eventual hero and literally everyone still involved with him is a complete shithead.

Rekieta doesn't have to denounce Ralph as if he were some moral arbiter among degenerate cows or something. Some people are demanding that, but I don't think that's really what people are being critical of him for. Rather, it's that his entire persona as a father and husband is antithetical to what Ralph has done, so not commenting on it in any semi-official manner makes him look like a bad person. The defense against that, "He's a lolbertarian doing a lawyer grift so it's fine!" isn't really the point, since it's an ethical issue that really has little to do with the law or internet entertainment.

There's a difference between thinking Nick has to denounce Ralph for whatever reason, and thinking that if he doesn't comment on Ralph it lowers his reputation significantly. Of course he doesn't have to do anything, and anyone claiming he does is a retard. But at the same time, I think it reflects extremely poorly on him and undercuts everything he has said/will say about ethics if he ignores it. So, sure, he doesn't have to comment on Ralph. But he can't then portray himself as a person who cares about being a good husband/father. And since that's been such a large part of his channel (re Ron Toye) it just makes me think poorly of him. It's up to him whether upholding those ethics is worthwhile or not.

tl;dr: Rekieta doesn't have to do anything—and anyone saying he does is retarded—but that doesn't mean people can't rightfully think worse of him for not doing so.
