Eric says he’s not Faith, and I’ll accept that for the sake of discussion. However, it’s pretty clear that Faith is the one putting these screenshots out there, either by passing them to her dad, or by passing them to a third party directly. Even if it’s Matt, I doubt he would leak all of this without Faith’s permission now that she’s home.

Anyway, all of that is beside the point. Matt has confirmed the authenticity of the messages, and Ralph has not disputed that. So the real question now is whether the allegations are true. Faith does have some history of being loose with the truth, but her messages at the time do seem to corroborate her allegations. Something went down. And since May (Pansu) was allegedly present when Ralph attempted to strangle Faith, we need to hear from May directly. Did Ralph attempt to strangle Faith? Did he put hands on her at all? Did he yell? If not, did he raise his voice or lunge at her? And do May’s messages at the time corroborate her answers to those questions.

I’ve been dipping in and out of this thread, so I’m sorry if this has been addressed. What, if anything, has May said about what transpired?

Faith is the source for Matt’s information.

It's screenshots of her phone, not him summarizing a conversation or anything like that. He states that the messages have been verified as legitimate, which means that if anybody is lying, it's him, and Faith being unreliable is still a totally separate issue. There is certainly criticism of Matt that can be made about aspects of this situation, but I've never seen him shown to be a liar, and he's put out literally tens of pages of timelines that could easily be falsified if there was anything wrong in them.
