You know I've been thinking about this. Your position is that Alito knows he can't rule after midnight on the 8th. Originally he was going to make both sides file their briefs by the 9th but then he thought it would be funnier to make them file them a day earlier so they'd have to spend all night working on them,

After that was he was going to say 'Thanks for getting the briefs in a day early but it's too late for me to rule.'

To be honest I almost want this to happen. The US loses troll in chief Trump but it gains troll in chief Alito, and you can't even get rid of him by ballot stuffing. If you try to pack the court he'd just tell you to work all night on your briefs and then come up with some bullshit reason to rule against you. The idea of him, ACB, Gorsuch and Thomas all laughing it up like this picture of Reagan and Bush Sr cheers me up no end


Here's a thought experiment. Suppose the Supreme Court had ruled on the 13th in 2000 and you thought that was illegal. Who would you appeal the case to? The Supremerer Court?

If they hear arguments today, I would imagine they'd rush out a decision to avoid being called charlatans - a decision which is almost certainly going to be "that didn't prove fraud and you had enough time to investigate" barring anything last-minute that changes the whole game.

If the court in 2000 had made their decision after the harbor date, it's not necessarily illegal - I'd just see that as intentionally sandbagging it. Basically, you can't sue the Court because of judicial immunity; you'd have to take what they gave you and then attempt to disbar and replace the judges with due cause afterwards.

The whole situation is bizarre and there won’t be a good ending no matter what. Millions of people have woken up. I don’t think the majority have thought about politics to this degree in their entire lives. And the media had been gaslighting people for years long before Trump but Trumps presidency turned it up 100 notches. Trump has accomplished a lot but raising awareness of the lies and manipulation is probably the most useful thing he has done. As bad as it is it is also a good thing for people to be thinking and seeing things they were not alert to before.

When they declared Biden president they turned the pressure up even higher , they are trying to force GOP officials to say Biden is the new president......say it , just say it, say Biden won...because they know the damage of someone coming into office as an illegitimate president because that’s exactly what they did to Trump and he has been undermined his entire term.

It’s not going to work, too many people realize something is fishy. There is no way Biden will be accepted and people who think he will just slide right in and fix everything are deranged and delusional. This will be the same situation as when Trump got in only a little better conflict wise because Trump supporters do not stand around screaming and protesting in a destructive way like libs do. They don’t set things on fire and destroy property they just wave their flags and yell about their rights and guns and church and ’merica.

People who voted red down the ticket for the first time did it because of Trump , not the GOP. He has brought life into that party and their betrayal of him is backfiring on them right now. There are many who would follow him or a new party that supports his leadership style and agenda.

Everything they are proposing to do once Biden is in isn’t going to help the avg person at all and people will soon see this. People who think it’s great now that Trump is gone, ask yourself what are you going to get out of this? Are you just listening to the MSM and focusing on stupid tweets? Not one thing they are proposing will help you as an average person. increasing refugeee settlement over 700 percent, giving amnesty to illegal aliens who are already here, getting back into Paris accord. 100 day mask mandate. Raising our taxes and corporate taxes (low corporate taxes create more jobs) None of these things will benefit the avg person. Jobs will be gone, they will put you in a mask and shut everything down. But no more orange man being mean to people so it’s all good. I think more things are about to be exposed, this is like a bomb ready to go off.

The interesting thing is that you could see the SC rule on Cruz's PA unconstitutionality case and then, if it rules the PA election was unconstitutional the Texas case to rule the election unconstitutional in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

At which point no one has 270 votes and it goes to a contingent election.

I still think safe harbor means you can't file lawsuits past the deadline. It doesn't stop the SCOTUS ruling on ones that have already been filed. And obviously, it can rule however it wants.

I work full time, but I don't post here as much as you think lol. I am just highly visible because I am not conservative so I stand out. I am active for a few hours a day, but usually while I do other stuff
