>The South and SOUF Dakota join arms as Republicans to uphold the election laws and save the Union.

Tell that to someone in the late 1800's America. They'd get a good laugh.
I was just listening to the fantastic book The Republic For Which It Stands and thinking how little has politically changed now that we’re back to Reconstruction-era election fraud, and now the South has risen again. For Republicans and Donald Trump

The south has risen.
*banjo music intensifies*
Say that Texas wins the case, how mad do you expect people to be at Texas?

Joggers & "antifascists" will be bused in by the thousands to "mostly peacefully protest" major infrastructure across Texas

Something tells me they wont.

It's fucking TEXAS

Depends: Dallas and a few other areas are blue and could see some reeeing from the usual suspects. If the government there is smart (:optimistic: because government is almost always retarded no matter where you go) they would take notice of antifa & acab sentiments ruining reelection chances and might make em fuck off. Or the people might rise depending on how blue the area is, but the more blue the much less likely.

Also it's not like americans didn't already have egos the size of the solar system anyway. Have you ever seen any other nationality actually literally dress in nothing but their own flag? As in have every single piece of attire stamped with that shit. I've seen it. In my hometown! Multiple fucking times! And it was always the star spangled banner! Fucking Bandit Keith is apparently a role model for some people, so really, at this point, I don't think most of us would notice if their patriotism rises to further limits, they already hit singularity,
Honestly I wish more countries had the same pride - its good for the nation (IN HEALTHY AMOUNTS, don't want to go down that path again). I've only seen South Americans and soccer fans with the same amount of "let me dress exactly like the flag" levels of tacky we do, but perhaps its due to the big Latino influence around me.

Honestly this thread is making me feel really fucking american these days. I think I'll end up dressing as Dale soon.

It's not a matter of not being interested. They're being threatened. If Trump is crowned by the SC, then it's on the heads of those individual justices. They "betrayed" the Republic, they're now "responsible" for what comes next.
Firstly, they're always under threat. Alito was talking about the gun case in New York and how Gillibrand, Da Nang Richard and a few other Democrat senators sent them a lovely little letter basically saying that if they didn't rule the way they wanted, they would be 'restructured'. The SCOTUS does not respond to threats.

Secondly, the court is limited in how many cases it can take in a year and it's pointless to hear the Pennsylvania case alone when they've got a much bigger case that encompasses all the former case's issues.

Something tells me they wont.

It's fucking TEXAS
If antifa are deployed to attack confused conservatives, Trump will send the FBI to arrest the conservatives.

Texas, or not- it's happened everytime anyone stands up against antifa under Trump.

I look forward to Americans being free from antifa terrorism under President Joseph Biden.
Remember two weeks ago when this was supposed to never go to the Supreme Court?
Being rejected by every Supreme Court justice isn't 'going to the Supreme Court', retard.

Good point, but the GOP loses this time.

PA has responded to the Texas lawsuit with the laches argument. “Nobody complained about it before.”

“The state of Pennsylvania has replied to the Texas lawsuit, arguing that it doesn't actually address Act 77 - a 2019 statute which allows voters to cast mail-in ballots for any reason.

Pennsylvania also argues that Texas doesn't articulate how 'massive disenfranchisement' of voters by tossing out the results of the election 'would accord with the Due Process Clause, which requires the counting of votes cast in reasonable reliance on existing election rules,' and that the case at hand wouldn't result in a 'circuit split' - when two or more different circuit courts of appeals might rule differently on the same legal issue (and is one of the factors the Supreme Court uses when deciding to take cases).

PA is also arguing that Texas, or anyone, has had since 2019 to object to Act 77, which violates the 'doctrine of laches.'“

Pennsylvania files response at SCOTUS objecting to petition stating mail in ballots should be disallowed. Arg:
1) No Circuit split
2) Elections & Electors Clause challenges to Act 77—is not actually presented by this case
3) State law laches no precedenthttps://t.co/B4IX8Yqfvz
