Is it just me or is she making bizarre faces throughout the whole video? Maybe she's usually eating and not speaking to the camera, but it was super apparent to me that she was making weird scrunchy faces and expressions she's never made before. Knowing her, she's probably copying someone. I'll have to check and see if ALR has been scrunching lately.
Who goes to "emerge" because they think they might be dehydrated? Is she serious? She's been having this diarrhea issue for weeks if not months now. Why hasn't she made an appointment with her regular doctor? I guess she wasn't hungry yesterday so she figures she better go to the ER ASAP. What a moron.
It's definitely most likely the C-dif from a year ago coming back on its own. After all, 40 years of binging junk food couldn't possibly have an effect on her digestive system.

My guess is that her docs wanted to do the colonoscopy because I'm still not sold on Cdiff (but to be fair, I am no expert on Cdiff) . She kept putting off the colonoscopy because of the prep. Now she's waited so long, its gotten worse. She thinks if she can just go to the ER, they will "fix" without having to go through the trouble of the colonoscopy/prep.
As far as thirst goes, damn right she's dehydrated. I doubt she drinks much water and she's crapping it all out all day long. Not to mention that thirst is a diabetic thing too. We all know she TOTALLY DOESN'T HAVE THAT THOUGH.

Re: ER visit. Does the Ottawa Health Region have covid field hospitals yet? Other places in Canada are setting them up as ICUs get full. I know they're different units but I have to imagine medical staff are being shuffled around to meet the demand?
Imagine you or your dependent family member has an accident or a stroke of some kind, and you head to the ER, masked up and wary, and all the hospital staff are exhausted and overworked... and next to you is some cackling, stinking wheezehag who complains that she can't stop shitting, while eating a giant bag of fast food and hissing at anyone who looks at her.

What the fuck are we supposed to do with this information? You shit yourself 10 times a day. Okay? Just go to the ER and do an update AFTER you get a diagnosis. Nah, I believe she wants her audience to coddle her and tell that her issues are not that serious and she'll eventually just sit on her ass and do nothing. Or, she'll go to the ER and argue with medical professionals because she doesn't agree with their findings.
The nasty and disgusting way she talks to her audience when they ask the most innocent and plausible questions just rang through my head as I watched that pathetic video. The vicious way she treats people around her just makes me not give a fuck, even on a basic humanistic level of understanding. I remember posting back in August? I think that she's a prime candidate for DKA, Diabetic Ketoacidosis. Symptoms include: Excessive thirst, flushed skin, frequent urination, nausea, diarrhea, fatigue, shortness of breath, gastrointestinal bleeding, etc. Of course, it could be anything with Chantal, but given that she admitted that she's been diagnosed with diabetes (or sent to a clinic for it? I can't keep up) some kind of new medical issue was inevitable.

I had a surgery and caught c-diff. My early symptoms were not pooping, just stomach pain. I told a doc but they thought it might be a bladder infection and tested me, it wasn't. Well, I got sicker and sicker, still no diarrhea, until one day I couldn't get up. I was weak, shaky and sick and thought it was flu. That’s when the diarrhoea started, and it was D like no other. More like dysentery, just a gross smelling, tea colored liquid that leaked from my ass 24/7. It's not like going to the bathroom, there is no control at all. I went to the ER, where they diagnosed it. My bowel had also become completely infected, pancolitis they said, and I became septic. Probably because my symptoms were backwards. Specialist said it was worst case he’d ever seen. They were going to yank my bowel out to save my life if my pressure dropped one more point. I sat and stared at that machine, willing it not to drop.
I spent 7 days in ICU, on 3 different antibiotic drips and painkillers, but my bowel recovered thank God. .
This was before they all started doing fecal transplants, which is now standard. Back then it was just a few hospitals. It sounds funny but it's the best way to fix this terrible disease.
It took me months to completely recover. We bleached the bathroom nightly, bleached sheets, etc. No way did I ever want that disease again. Thing is, once you recover and it's been years, it doesn't come back unless you take antibiotics. The spores are always there but you have to wipe out intestinal flora to allow it to take over again, and antibiotics can do that so I won't take them. I never heard of eating like a pig doing it but maybe. Or maybe she was stupid enough to take antibiotics.
If you have c-diff it doesn't hurt to shit, it just hurts all the time. The smell is god-awful so she’d know. And they tell you not to eat high fiber foods, give your gut a rest. Yogurt, soft processed foods. I lived on pancakes for months. I weighed 80 lbs when I left the hospital. I didn't start at 500 of course, but I was still quite sick
Here, people with c-diff' are placed in sterile rooms alone, and everybody gowns up before they come in, like Covid. Hard to imagine she got it from a roommate, however, it is a hospital acquired infection. It’s nothing she should be joking around with-she should go now. But it's hard for me to think somebody who ever had that disease would not recognize it again. The smell is like nothing you have ever smelled. So maybe it's something else but she is dumb to just ”rest.” I dislike Chantel but nobody should die in their own shit like that. As appropriate as it may be, I don't even want it for her.

If she followed through with regular GP appointments (whatever happened to the colonoscopy she was supposed to have?) and didn't just sit around while things got worse (she has been mentioning escalating digestive issues for weeks now), then she wouldn't have to burden the poor front line healthcare workers who are already stressed to the max dealing with Covid.
