Apparently the game is an unpolished mess despite having been delayed and crunched on for a long ass time, not surprised. The release day patches were bigger than the game itself and it's still having performance issues on even the beefiest of rigs.

Oh really? saw some guy stream it and he was getting around 70FPS with everything at max with not really the strongest battlestation in the world, from what I saw nothing seemed too unpolished in general apart from raytracing only working half of the time
Maybe it's a lot of people getting cucked by Steam and refusing to get the game on GOG

Doubt it, one of the things for what i believe they are going to be rejected is that Cover halfway know that their talents are going to be doxxed, but like everyone here already know if you see that is a woman the reaction would be something in plan like "oh she is like a 6/10 would fuck", now imagine the reaction if its a member of La Zorra, the graduation would measured in picoseconds

Paying lipservice to avoid controversy and actually going through with it are two different things. I would like to hope that Cover has enough people around that would steer them away from the sea of drama that bringing on such a person would do.
They're best off just avoiding it entirely it's a no win scenario even if they hired a passing individual, any issues that person encounters would immediately become overly delicate with certain circles of the internet blaming any hardship or shortcoming the "girl" would face as transphobia.
The only winning move is to pay the necessary lipservice like the application did and nothing more.

I like to make the distinction between actual trans people and the fuckers who say it to gain clout. The ones I do know don't actually bring that much attention to the fact that they used to be a guy or a girl, they just act like they are whatever the fuck they are and have been that way their whole life.
Good rule of thumb: if someone broadcasts their mental disorder in the most public way possible, chances are it's not all that serious and they're doing it for attention. You'll be able to tell, usually it's the ones who talk about it in inappropriate places like twitter bios. or in conversations about completely irrelevant things.
