In more recent time, it seems migz has become a doomer after getting exposed as being manipulative and his gf getting into drama. the included .txt is an archive of a server owned by Migz. Puppychan was also inside so there might be some messages of hers. No matter where you are in the US, getting put in inpatient is going to give you some issues. There's kind of an endless loop cycle of people being suicidal, getting put in inpatient, being treated poorly, doing outpatient, being okay for a short span, then relapsing with bonus trauma from inpatient. If inpatient is good at anything, it's trying to scare you out of ever getting put back into it. Unfortunately, Puppychan doesn't seem super conducive to "bad decision = consequence" rationale, and this might be a longstanding pattern. She's still young enough that I really do feel bad for her and I hope she gets her shit together before she gets too messed up. Praying for her.
Well fuck I thought some other states would be a bit better about it but I can't say I'm surprised. It's honestly gross the way those places are run - how can you expect minimum wage people to give a shit about some randos that are currently in a mentally unstable state.
It honestly depends on who is in charge. First offence is usually 24 hours with someone like family or some social worker to watch them literally all the time, even when they go to the bathroom. However, some places may push them to admit themselves and trick them so they get their sweet sweet insurance money - they cannot get themselves out after that point until considered outpatient by the facility. Generally some offences may get 2 weeks and that's probably only if they didn't do anything too crazy but still show signs of suicidal actions. It's all kind of a shitshow and really just lies in if you're going to a private facility or if they know you don't have insurance/money and dump you off to the state.
