Avatar: the Last Airbender isn't as good as people make it out to be. I feel silly trying to watch a show meant for kids/teens in my 30s to begin with because so many people in my age group keep telling me how life-changing it is. It's a decent show for it's intended audience, but if you're nearing middle age and finding your world outlook altered by kiddy cartoons, I wonder about you.

I was in high school when I decided to try that show out and after about 5 episodes I started to realize I didn't give a shit. I disliked the characters and I just plain didn't care about what was happening, and it wouldn't bother me so much if so many people in my age group didn't treat it as the second coming of Christ.

Hell of it was though that around that time I gave Samurai Jack and the 2003 Justice League show a shot and I ended up adoring both of them, so it wasn't the fact that I was watching a kids' show as much as it was the writing. I thought Samurai Jack and Justice League were written better and in such a way that I could forget that I was watching a kids' show, while Avatar's writing just kept reminding me that I wasn't the intended audience.

Wtf why? Hell no. I disagree. I would rather watch a movie about George Washington being made into a Transgender woman instead of watching a movie about a black George Washington.

It's not that immigrants from India are less skilled on average than white or black American truckers, but that other races are embarrassed and timid when they don't know what they're trying to do.

Streetshitters will back their trailer at an acute angle into your grill while you're parked, then get out and scream at you for being in their way.
