Those shoes look surprisingly decent, I said to myself, suspiciously so for a Marissa Davis TM product. Design that actually considers the layout of distribution on the surface? That doesn't seem right.

Then I realised that it only looks considered because the part with the pattern is a specific panel on the shoe. It's not her being smart, it's just baked into the template, and her slapping on a generic tiled image as usual.

Agree that it looks like a typical thing you could get for $12-15 at Target or something, which considering that it looks BETTER than her standard isn't a glowing recommendation of her typical quality.

Based on like two minutes of poking around Shopify, it looks like they actually offer print-on-demand stuff via some partnered service called 'Oberlo'? So it's assumedly all done through there, as far as I can tell literally nothing passes through her hands and just goes straight from some Chinese sweatshop to the customer. This probably explains some of the shit-tier quality; the wider a range of products a single producer covers, the less refined those products are likely to be.
