Whilst I do have a bit of scepticism because this is lying Louie after all, it would certainly explain all the puking and sweating he's been doing which we've been long speculating as being caused by his infected foot hole. Sepsis though? I doubt very much he'd be up and lucid enough to be tweeting if he were ill with sepsis because that shit is life threateningly sick. I suppose he could certainly have been on his way to full blown sepsis though. Perhaps a medical professional finally got to see the foot and went into total panic mode.

Could be that Mama Gags is just too humiliated that she gave birth to a son so stupid and lazy that he allowed an easily treated boo-boo become so bad that he may lose his foot, and the embarrassment over the situation with her adult autistic child1 outweighs her desire to use the situation for grifting and attention.

He's almost certainly on Medicaid since he doesn't work, so most likely it won't cost him a dime. Won't stop him from flipping it into a grift, though.

Until either I see a hospital bed/bracelet or a stump picture, I am still holding out on the fact this is another lie/grift moment for him. Lou Lies, and I have a feeling this is just another card up his sleeve for more grifting. I truly do not believe he went to the hospital.

Also, getting a tablet "bought" either self paid or given is a pretty hefty Christmas present. I haven't personally had a gift in years since my babbeh was born, and many other parents are in the same boat. i’m with spoon on this one. also fairly sure Our Lou meant to put “not” before diabetes in that tweet. he’s likely got a VERY bad infection at risk of going full sepsis and is being tested for type 2. they’re not going to cut off his whole foot from an ER admit without trying to control the infection with IV antibiotics, debridement of necrotic tissue, etc. first.

unless it’s turned into some kind of full-on whole-foot horror show in the interim, which... this is 2020 after all. what a time to be barely alive.

From a medical perspective, I feel like these are the next series of events for Lou. He is no doubt connected to an IV, because that is standard procedure. He also probably has antibiotics in his IV as well, because taking antibiotics intravenously (through the veins) rather than orally is going to be much more effective and faster. Lou has no doubt been suffering from a fever, which has been the reason for his sudden hot/cold behaviors. When the body has an infection it kicks into overdrive, resulting in a raise of temperature. Probably some form of pain killer, because having a crater in your foot is bound to be painful. I also wonder if they will address his high blood pressure issues, as well as do an echo cardiogram on his heart to see how well it is doing. If so, they may start him on medication at the hospital.

The main job of the emergency room is to administer care for life threatening injuries. His foot is really serious, but amputating extremities is also very extreme. They will run blood tests to see what Lou's cholesterol and A1C levels are- primary indicators of heart disease and diabetes. If it is diabetes, they will have to take even greater care in determining something as drastic as amputation. Many diabetes patients suffer from vascular issues- and amputations are just a domino effect on the body. Once a toe gets removed the whole foot has to get removed but then...a few months later, even more has to come off. The veins and tissues cannot heal properly due to diabetic neuropathy and so surgeons attempt to remove as much as they can safely until...either the wound finally heals or the patient is out of options and can only be made comfortable.

They are going to work on getting his body back to homeostasis- an equilibrium, if you will. Once his medical issues have been addressed he will discuss with the lead doctor at the time of dismissal about further plans. I know of an experimental procedure that works very well with patients who have wounds like this- it involves sprinkling pig bladder cells in a powdery compound over the wound. Those cells are so closely related to human skin that they body uses the cells as their own to repair the body, and the process at the speed it can work is remarkable.

We can only wait to see what Lardo reveals and what he lets slip for the grift...but I do not envy him at this current moment. I hope the ipads and tablets and unlimited grubhub orders were worth the severe consequences he is about to face.

Oh my, big happenings on the Lou front! Couple of notes here:

In that initial screenshot, the muted tweet says 'are you okay', prompting Lou's 'sepsis, probably not'. Whether this is Lou blowing things out of proportion for drama or an actual statement from the doctor unknown, obviously, but theoretically he says that in response to 'about to be admitted' which suggests he has seen at least a triage doctor at that point and they might have given him some sort of indication of what's wrong.

He posted this at 10pm, so I wonder what finally prompted him to go consider that he's been shaking off vomiting, fever, and chills for a while now. That's not the sort of time where one casually heads to the hospital, and I'd imagine that's not the sort of time that the bus goes there. Did Mama Gags drive him? There's nothing on her Facebook about it.

That said, Doctor Google says that there are three stages to sepsis, and what immediately jumps to mind (holy shit dude you're gonna die) is the latter two stages, severe sepsis and septic shock. What Lou probably has atm is (relatively) mild and treatable, though you bet your ass it's gonna be miserable, uncomfortable, and he's gonna need to get that foot hole scraped out and properly treated as well as putting himself at risk for COVID by having to be in the hospital during a pandemic.



Obviously the last one is a given with his festering foot, but I wonder what other boxes Lou was checking? A fever is a big red flag these days for obvious nonfoothole reasons. I wonder if fever/chills explains his TOO HOT TOO COLD lately. Thunkful.

When he has been told many times, and not just by us, how to avoid having to go through this? When any actual concern people showed him was just met with aggression?

Yeah, he can rot into pieces for all I care. I have no sympathy for Lou experiencing hardships, because he actively works to bring them on himself. IMO he's telling the truth, at least in the broad scheme of things. My reason for thinking that is there is no way in hell he would EVER say that KF was right unless they actually were and there was no way of hiding it any longer. His ego would never permitted him to ever admit we were right about anything as part of a lie/grift, it would be too humiliating.

What it's also undoubtedly also proof of is that he does indeed read this thread, despite all his denials.
