I saw mentions earlier that called him a Trump voter, but according to him he's never voted in his life. There was a single tweet from like 5 years ago that had some joke about "tipping his MAGA hat" that they latched onto to get him ousted.

This is a holdover from NeoGAF days. You had to use an email with a work or academic domain that was ostensibly to promote a professional environment. The NeoGAF phoenix that rose from the trash fire dumped that policy, because when they spiraled into ideological warfare admin's used that information to try to get people fired for wrong-think.

Of course this policy was very attractive to the lunatics that splintered off to form Reeetardera.

They react the same about this game as they do JonTron or Ion Fury. These people are insane but they do it because they want to throw their imaginary weight around.

I think a context that some people are missing is how normal all this is on Resetera. Everything that has led up to their current tranny holocaust is stuff that happens everyday on the site and these outbursts are entirely predictable by anyone paying attention. The only abnormality is that it made it to the front page of KF this time.

I'd agree but those things were ultimatly critical of the causes, they believe in. Cyberpunk 2077 is ultimatly at worst neutral to them and arguably pro. They have to be aware the setting gave them everything they wanted in terms of rights, representation and post human drivel but they were still unhappy because it suggested that it might not matter because the worlds a shit hole.

I've previously argued the worst thing that could happen to online transtrenders is that we achieve a tech level where they can alter themselves to their deepest desire. Once they've transitioned into some supermodel demigod, they're going to immediatly realize that they're an unlikable bore with nothing to contribute.

Just my two cents, I don't think the game even tried to do the whole "deshumanizing trannies for corporate reasons".
The Cyberpunk setting is so full of body modifications (either with machines or DNA modification) that having a girl with a penis could not be in any way shape or form a transgender individual.
Only a woman with a robotic or biological penis attached to her.
Then again, maybe the penis was natural and everything else was modified, we don't know.

For a group that bitched about diversity, they sure want set rules to everything that resembles their style, being real or fiction.

The way I heard it explained was that while it makes sense in the setting we in the real world are not at a place where we can go "oh look an ad featuring a hot chick with a giant dick. That makes me want to buy soda" so it just comes off as a "lol tranny" punchline. Take that as you will. I don't necessarily agree.
