Britain’s vaccines minister announced Monday that the government will definitely not mandate the coronavirus shot, and that it has no plans to introduce immunity passports, or place restrictions on those who do not take the jab.

Mackinac Center Sues U-M For COVID Documents​

University delayed months, then heavily redacted information related to the science and data behind executive decisions​

The Mackinac Center Legal Foundation has filed a lawsuit against the University of Michigan for violation of the state’s Freedom of Information Act. The school refused to provide a significant portion of documents requested concerning the science and data used to support the state’s lockdown orders.

When Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced the Michigan Safe Start Plan in May, there were a number of questions about the rationale behind the decisions being made. The governor claimed that all the best “science and data” was considered while putting these orders into place, but she refused to share the details publicly. While the governor’s office is exempt from FOIA under Michigan law, Gov. Whitmer relied on information from officials at the University of Michigan to formulate these policy decisions. As a public university, U-M is subject to Michigan’s FOIA law.

On May 13, 2020, the Mackinac Center requested email communications relating to the state’s COIVD-19 response between three university employees who were providing input to state officials. The request asked for records of email correspondence these three public employees had with any official state government email address. A second request was filed on May 27, 2020, expanding upon the original request to include emails from those individuals referencing the “Michigan Safe Start Plan.”

The university said it was prepared to provide the documents on Aug. 20 and provided the estimated cost to be $2,124 for the first request and an additional $170 for the second. The Mackinac Center paid the fees for the second request, after which the university misdirected the payment and the documents weren’t received until Oct. 5, 2020 But the university redacted a significant portion of the information contained in the documents, citing a “frank communications” exemption.

The Mackinac Center filed an appeal and more documents were provided, although they were also heavily redacted. The frank communications exemption can be applied when communications are more than purely factual, are advisory in nature and are preliminary to a policy decision or determination. If those factors are met, and the public’s interest in encouraging frank communications does not clearly outweigh the public’s interest in obtaining the requested information, then portions of records may be redacted. Those factors are not met in this case.

I swear every bit of news like this that comes out makes me more and more convinced not to get it. I have all my vaccines, I usually get the flu shot every year, and I was up for this one a few months ago but they've completely lost me with this. Few days earlier I was waiting outside in the freezing fucking cold to be called in to the local grocers. There' s a big sign "WAIT TO BE CALLED IN - ONLY TWO PEOPLE AT A TIME - THANKS FOR NOT UNDERSTANDING!"

Yeah, it's fucking freezing and waiting 10 minutes outside seems like an age. I look around, there is a woman looking at ME, like a cunt! I felt like I had done something wrong. Behind her, another cunt, starts huffing and puffing. Trying to get my attention which she did. So I turn around. Then she says "You can knock on the door and ask to be let in you know?". She looks at it. There isn't a lot she can say really. But she still says "Just knock on the door, perhaps there's no one in there". So I quite simply said to her "No, I don't feel comfortable with that. I don't want to break the social rules". She looks at me as if to say: "Wanker!".

Fair play to the old spunky lass. But fucksake, don't take that shit out on me. I don't make the rules ma'am, I just follow them.

She came in the shop later, and said fuck all to the owner. But a big burly lad is alright to take frustrations out on ain't it? Cunts are taught that from an early age, and while I do have a bit of a soft spot for the fairer sex, they would do well to remember that some of us would be happy to give them a backhander that not only teaches them an important life lesson, but knocks the old cunts back in to next week, kind of thing. The reason I don't do it is not because I don't want to, not because it's not justified, but because I don't want to go to prison. And the cunts know that.

Having said all that, all the men I've come across have been extra polite again. They know what's up and that tempers are frayed. I'm not sure if I told this story last week. Because the days are all melting in to one. And every time I go out the fucking house some cunt gives me shit about something. Anyway...

It's not actually possible to leave the house now, without some cunt (woman) having a temper tantrum over sweet fuck all. I would say it happens about 50 percent of the time I pass a woman (cunt) on the street and not walk out the way for her (the cunt). And even when I do walk out the way for the cunts, they still stomp their feet like a naughty little pre-teen with pigtails who can't get their own way. The little cunts.

I walked into a doctor's appointment and came to the realization of how quickly this turned into a dystopian movie. Things seem grayer. Get tagged like cattle to see the doctor. Then I mentioned the Nightingale hospitals that didn’t get used at all and they were like “but there weren’t enough doctor’s and nurses, that’s why they didn’t get used!”. That’s retarded, if there were that many Covid patients those hospitals would be full regardless of whether there was enough staff to treat them all. But no “I saw photos of patients in the corridors!1!!”...of the normal hospitals. Sure it‘s bad, but it’s not exactly bodies in the street now is it? RESOLVED, That our American Medical Association rescind its statement calling for physicians to stop prescribing hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine until sufficient evidence becomes available to conclusively illustrate that the harm associated with use outweighs benefit early in the disease course. Implying that such treatment is inappropriate contradicts AMA Policy H-120.988, “Patient Access to Treatments Prescribed by Their Physicians,” that addresses off label prescriptions as appropriate in the judgement of the prescribing physician (Directive to Take Action); and be it further

RESOLVED, That our AMA rescind its joint statement with the American Pharmacists Association and American Society of Health System Pharmacists, and update it with a joint statement notifying patients that further studies are ongoing to clarify any potential benefit of hydroxychloroquine and combination therapies for the treatment of COVID-19 (Directive to Take 15 Action)

This resolution did not pass, but the fact that it was only even tabled after the election is hilarious.

ICU AVAILABILITY FALLS TO 12.9 PERCENT, PUTTING ENTIRE BAY AREA INTO SHUTDOWN MODE

County getting more than 7,500 doses of vaccine this week
When Monterey County health officer Dr. Ed Moreno ordered residents to stay home as much as possible and limited restaurants to takeout-only starting Sunday night, it turns out he jumped the gun by only four days.

This morning, the California Department of Public Health imposed its own shutdown order on the county and the entire Greater Bay Area, effective tomorrow night, after data from hospitals showed just 12.9 percent of ICU beds in the region are available.

The Greater Bay Area now joins the Southern California, the San Joaquin Valley and the Greater Sacramento area in being subject to the shutdown order Gov. Gavin Newsom described as "pulling the emergency brake" when he announced it Dec. 3 after a major surge in coronavirus cases began in early November. More than 98 percent of the state's population will now be impacted by the order.

The deluge of new cases seems to be hitting parts of Monterey County as much as anywhere. Today, the county health department said it confirmed an additional 286 infections among county residents, with 227 of them in Salinas and the Salinas Valley. There are 34 new cases in the Monterey Peninsula, including 12 in Seaside, 10 in Marina, five in Monterey, three in Carmel Valley, two in Carmel area (93923), one in Pebble Beach, and none in Pacific Grove, Carmel-by-the-Sea or Big Sur.

Meanwhile, Moreno said during a noon conference call with the media that of the nearly 500,000 vaccine doses California is expected to receive in the first round, Monterey County will get 7,625, with 2,925 of the Pfizer vaccine doses expected this week.

Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital and Natividad Medical Center will each receive an initial 975 doses of Pfizer and 1,400 doses of the Moderna vaccines, while Mee Memorial Hospital in King City will get 500 doses of the Moderna vaccine, he said.

The Pfizer vaccine is expected to arrive to county hospitals Thursday or Friday, while Moreno said the Moderna version is expected to arrive a week later.

SVMH spokeswoman Karina Rusk (who received a fine and probation for her DUI last year) said Wednesday afternoon the hospital will begin immunizing staff who work with coronavirus patients immediately upon receipt of the vaccine. Besides those who work in the hospital’s Covid units, hospital staff who work in surgery, respiratory care, rehab services, emergency department, social workers and other departments will also be among the first to be vaccinated.

What I don't get about this mandatory vaccine BS is if you get the vaccine, why should you fear those who didn't get it?

Of course this vaccine thing is shaping up to be an insane circus like I predicted. Can you imagine all this crap over a regular flu vaccine? Or a chicken pox vaccine? That's how crazy this is.
