Honestly I'm just surprised we haven't seen any "real" collaborative efforts from Zoe and Anita besides from the general narrative (which they fail to keep straight anyway).
I mean it makes sense, I personally think they hate each other behind the scenes. Can't have two queen bees and all that. I think they were genuinely surprised.

It's not like they ever put in a bunch of work/effort/sweat to get to where they are - they kind of just lazily breezed into being "authorities on harassment". Anita was never a gamer, Zoe was never anything important.

They put the same effort into the UN meeting as they put into anything else - and it was one of the first times it didn't erupt in money/praise for the duo (primarily because the UN isn't staffed by Game "Journalists" who fuck people they interview).

Anita probably was shocked when her foundation didn't grow to be worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Zoe was probably shocked when her book/movie deal didn't explode.

As the UN debacle showed, Zoe's downfall is that she's ambitious, but is too lazy to back up that ambition.
