Oh boy. I actually thought about doing a Youtube channel about reviewing youtube channels by genre, but I realized that I don't really like most content creators anymore.
GameGrumps.
Anomaly.
Fatmagic. In fact, most TF2 channels where some smug fag goes in a pub and pretends he's tough shit for killing some angry kid.
Soundsmith. Reddit tier humor and content.
EmpLemon. Getting autistic about memes is very autistic.
KrimsonRogue. I like his voice, but two hours of him being faux outraged at shit is dull and repetitive.
MeatCanyon. All of his vids are the same. "wow, this character is gross looking, speaks in a weird and deep voice, and is saying something weird!!! wow!!!".
Almost anyone who does those super long critiques or "video essays" - if you think those guys make good content, fair enough - but I don't need to listen to someone sperg into a Blue Yeti for three hours about TLOU2 or some dude with a fursona telling me how The Simpsons sucks now.
I've gotten tired of them. They are dime a dozen and so similar that they're interchangeable. YouTube is quickly becoming just as boring as cable or Netflix.
EDIT: Oh my lord, I'm glad someone mentioned Steve Terreberry a few pages ago. God, he's SoundSmith to the twelfth power. When people say he is punchable it isn't MATI, he really is just hittable, take one look at his content and you'll understand.
