It's almost like the elections are super insecure and the side that gains the most from it wants to keep it that way.

Yeah and it's weird that the one side that complains nonstop about widespread election fraud has been unable to provide reliable proof of said fraud in 4 years then still won a load of national elections in between. Also the only "solutions" they offer to fix this problem they can't prove even exists all statistically affect the people who vote against them significantly more than the people who vote for them. Then these people all very concerned with the integrity of elections are oddly silent when undeniable evidence surfaces that Congressional districts in multiple states were gerrymandered using algorithms specifically designed to dilute the black vote under the supervision of Republican state legislators.

It's almost like these people don't actually give two shits about election integrity and just want to use that as an excuse to sperg out and yell at random government officials to throw out the results because their guy didn't win.

The Democratic party gerrymanders too, it varies state by state.
Illinois for example:

That skinny patch in the middle is an interstate median with a population of zero. The locals call this district "earmuffs." To be somewhat fair this district was made to comply with a federal court order.

Anyways gerrymandering is fucked and districts need to be an independent process not drawn up by partisans. Anyone who claims to be a champion of election integrity who isn't anti-gerrymandering can get the fuck out.

I'd be in favor of increasing voter ID requirements if there was proof that voter impersonation fraud is an actual problem.

Disagree. As long as there is not enough fraud to change the outcome of an election, making it easier for legal voters to vote should always take precedence over making the election more secure.

I disagree. Making it difficult to vote if you don't follow easy steps is a good thing because it weeds out foolish, uneducated, and lazy voters. If trolls persuade you Election Day is on a different day or really stupid Russian Facebook ads convince you not to vote, you have no business voting to begin with. A simple voter ID is part of that.

Washington State and Oregon both have a completely secure all mail-in elections process.

The latest numbers show that the national average for turnout is around 66%. Oregon was around 78% while Washington came in at 84%.

These numbers are the real reason why Republicans are pushing so hard against mail in ballots. They know that if more people vote, they can't win.
