I keep getting dragged into Wuflu convos I don't even want to join, both in the internet and real life. It usually ends with the "long-term problems" like (paraphrasing) "Heart problems, neurological/memory problems, lung problems, people who used to could run 10 miles now can barely walk around the block without feeling completely exhausted."
My responses would usually be (in order) "fat or pre-existing conditions, that's not how it works, a pre-existing condition like asthma or something, ether lying or didn't do anything for 9 months". and it would always lead to me being ganged up with logic thrown out of the window.

I also have to admit the first and the third point is really weird, its like the majority of people somehow forgot the existence of pre-existing conditions one day.

On another point: My Aunt works as a nurse in a hospital, and everyone has to take the vaccine. She's been stress-eating for a while and gained a lot of pounds, so I can't help but get worried at the possible damage it would do. She already heard of the side-effects it does, so its even worse.

Absolutely not applying this to you, or your family but when I think about the potential munchies, I wonder if a component of this is everybody being out of shape from staying home. I don't see any correlation in time with my being sick, but after 9 months of lockdown, I've noticed that long walking trips exhaust me in a way they never used to. I think it's because I've lost all the organic exercise of going to the coffee shop or office every day, and of course the gym.

People understimate how easy is it to lose a lot of work from gym, jogging, or something. You can't keep muscles the way they are by reaching a stage and stopping, they still need work on them or they will deteriorate. Unless you're a farmer, load tons of heavy boxes, a everyday swimmer, or whatever, you will lose all of that in 2-3 weeks by lazing around on your ass.

I'm sick and tired of what I call "Coronavirus virtue signalers". Here in Europe many countries don't have complete lockdowns. We have small restrictions like certain businesses open for a certain time. I have some family members (mostly millenials) who have to fucking complain about masks, social distancing, gatherings and other things about the coronavirus all the time. Yet they go to a restaurant or a bar every other day with their friends. And if I point this out they get so fucking offended. I'm done with these hypocritical fucks.

I've seen this so often. "I went to the park today, because the weather was nice, and there were SOOOOOOO many people there! Ummmmm why aren't they #StayingHome????" Gee, I don't know, they probably thought the weather was nice, so a trip to the park would be a good way to spend the day, same as you. I had a Facebook friend ranting about how she went to a busy shopping mall, but "so many people had their masks under their noses smh. Even my two year old can wear a mask properly! Everybody needs to wear their masks correctly!" Like, bitch, what the fuck are you doing scolding people when you were also at a busy shopping mall? If you were really afraid of this thing, you'd be cowering at home, ordering shit online, not risking the mall. These dorks are just looking for any excuse to scold people, because outside of these silly Covid rules, they have no sense of power in their lives, and this is the one thing they get to lord to over people, and have social media side with them

We asked CHI Memorial if Dover would be available for an interview on Monday, but the hospital says Dover is asking for privacy.

So she was fine appearing on camera and spreading propaganda a couple of days ago. Now she wants nothing to do with it.
