You specified the persecutory type. I agree that she has that type. But having read this thread in its entirety I think she also has the grandiose type. She believes that she practices the one and only true religion and that she has revealed truth, revealed exclusively to her. This would be her grandest delusion. Every human that ever lived got it wrong but Melinda got it right. But she also has a litany of more minor yet important discoveries, e.g. the genotype of a foetus can be altered by the ejaculate of men that did not father the child.

Her tenacity is admirable - too bad it's insane and incorrectly applied.
Oh well. We could call it another symptom of 2020- except this is her 6th attempt...

The eviction case has been going on since before the first Chinaman made bat soup. She was getting evicted because she's in a HUD program for rental assistance and she didn't want to follow HUD rules. If she isn't in the HUD program, she has to pay her rent herself. She couldn't pay market rate, so her landlord wanted her out. That's why she filed suit against both HUD and her landlord.

Her landlord may not have had a choice in evicting her. I don't know a great deal about how Section 8 and other HUD programs work, but the apartment may have been reserved for tenants in a rental-assistance program. If Melinda got thrown out of the program, he may have been forced to evict her just because of that.

This is all just based on my recollections, so don't take it as gospel. It's been a while since I read the court docs.

ETA: And if Melinda wants back in the HUD housing programs, she's going to have to at least make attempts to get child support from each of the fathers of her children, including Marshall. If Marshall really did adopt 5 of Melinda's children, she's going to need to try to get support for all six children from Marshall. Otherwise, she definitely needs to get child support from Marshall for his one biological child, whenever she finally decides to file for divorce.

Why can't Melinda ever state cause of action or similar shit? She claims she always learns from these cases, but it's always the same failure.

It's confirmation that her neighbors can't stand her. No surprise, considering her religious snobbery, her snobbery about her college degree, and her habit of trying to get RO/POs against everyone who pisses her off. She was living in a beyond tiny town at the time, too. If she worked really hard, she could alienate most of the town in a single day.
