Boxing Day isn't celebrated in America. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are both federal holidays as opposed to Christmas Day and Boxing Day in the Anglosphere. However this year Boxing Day falls on a Saturday so the courts will not be open until Monday the 28th.

Edit: I find it really strange that she doesn't celebrate Christmas since it is a celebration of the Birth of Christ, and she's allegedly Messianic. I mean, why would she not celebrate the birth of the literal Savior?
