NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A large explosion was reported in downtown Nashville early Christmas morning.
The explosion happened in the area of Second Avenue and Broadway near Commerce Street occurred around 6:30 am Friday. Heavy black smoke can be seen rising above the affected area.

The Metro Nashville Office of Emergency Management told News 2 a parked RV exploded and caused damage to several buildings. They said crews are currently assessing the damage but no injuries have been reported. Officials with the OEM also reported foul play was not suspected at this time.

There was a large police presence in this area along with fire crews. News 2 has reached out to Metro Police and The Fire Department to learn more.

Right wing spergs probably wouldn't attack on Xmas day. Them again I'd expect anyone else to attack Xmas Eve or St Stephens day if they wanted to maximize casualties
 
RV? Maybe some chemistry teacher tried making some fulminated mercury.

Or a propane tank went boom for some reason, shit happens.
 
Jesus, of all days. I just wonder what the target was since, looking through the pictures, it's in some random part of downtown not close to anything significant. I don't live in Nashville so that's all I can presume.
Ironically, it's a good thing this happened at 6am on a holiday like this though because it's practically dead outside so I'm glad no one was reported hurt so far.
 
I'm thinking someone had a little oopsie-daisy in their mobile meth lab.

Either that or terrorists.
