-On the topic of gay marriage, you had argued that because society had survived with the tradition that only straight marriage be allowed for centuries, it would be dumb to alter a system that was working well.

-I countered that your appeal to nothing but tradition was poor, because under similar traditions influenced by religion, it was procedure to burn heretics at the stake. As an atheist, you would be executed under these traditions.

-You counter by saying that you agree, and that you agree because it was my strawman and not your's.

To be honest, I'm not sure what the hell you were even trying to strawman in my argument, other than that you claimed I made a strawman argument. You didn't reference it yourself, and it seems you're not even aware what you accused of being a strawman now that you're asking me about what you yourself said was a strawman. You were the one who appealed to tradition, and accused my pointing out that your appeal to tradition could similarly have you killed, was somehow a strawman argument? I was literally just going off the same logic of the appeal you made, nothing more. And of course, you then accuse me of having made a strawman argument, despite the fact I couldn't possibly have done so there. The fact you added in false information to attack me is, in of itself, a strawman.

All that weren't about some fact I didn't initially know and was proven incorrect by actual evidence in a correct context. An example of an argument I lost would be one I had on Skype with Lalala. I claimed she doesn't like the fact of me having a kid because I'm not a monster who seduces. She managed to show me pretty well that, as somebody studying for a teacher and somebody who really cares for children, she actually cared that the kid had two parents. I realized my mistake and admitted she had been correct.

My claim, so far as expressed there, was about values of an institution and emotions of straight people. It said nothing about survival of societies. I didn't even say that the system is working well. It sometimes does, sometimes doesn't. Right now it doesn't and many countries which don't have gay marriage are also wrecks, due to feminism.

See how stupid you are?

2) She just said she cared that "the kid had 2 parents", not really saying she didn't like you having a kid.

1) In that case I can't really remember. Maybe some tiny argument on some info. If anybody can find some, please show it.
2) strawman. The point was that her reason wasn't that of most Western women - that I'm not a seducer or a killer. Most modern Western women vomit at the idea that a man who isn't a monster is a father. That's why they usually kill the babies the father would like to take care of.
