US 3 people killed, 3 injured in random shooting at Illinois bowling alley: Police

Three people are dead and at least three others injured after a person opened fire at random in a bowling alley in Rockford, Illinois, on Saturday evening.

The shooting took place at Don Carter Lanes just before 7 p.m. local time, according to the Rockford Police Department.

Police said a suspect has been taken into custody.


"When officers arrived on scene, the shooter was still in the building," Rockford Police Chief Dan O'Shea said at a briefing. "No officers fired their weapons we know of at this point, but the individual that we believe is responsible, and the only individual we believe at this point to be involved, we may have in custody. But it's still to be determined."

Speaking on the shooting, O'Shea said police "believe it's random."

The state attorney's office has been notified and the investigation is ongoing.

At least two teenagers were among those shot, O'Shea said, but he couldn't provide further details on the people who were injured or killed

"We're working with the business owners, they are on scene providing all cooperation they can to help us," O'Shea said.

Police said some people were shot outside the building and some inside.

Usually shootings done in Illinois are done by illiterate joggers who hold the gun sideways, the only thing that suggests otherwise is that this guy scored hits.

Bingo. In Rockford, this is literally any fucking day ending in Y. It just t'aint a day (or night) at all in Rockford without at least:

* One shooting (usually at Great Oaks/Winsome Acres/one of de projects)
* Home invasion
* Domestic "dispute" involving baby daddy

* The Fas Mart getting robbed. Pick your location

Used to be the Fairview Lanes was next best although it's been gone now for a number of years. Shooters bar and grill is attached--also pretty popular spot AFAI (still)K. This individual posted this in an attempt to provide some context. Again, Rockford is VERY VIOLENT. One of the most violent cities in Illinois. The school district is a storied dropout factory with stupid high illiteracy and kids "identified" as SPED despite most of them carrying smartphones and rocking dozens of tattoozz just like their swamp donkey mothers.
Some woman is blubbering now about "How can this be over slotzzz because fat boy made it illegal to game under lockdown since last month!!" Rockford has more slots and check cashing places than the average meth user has sores. It's been dummycrat controlled for decades. The cuck mayor is the son of a prior Rockford mayor--both democrat--both hellbent on out Ted Wheeler-ing Ted wheeler.

That's...quite the extensive list there. Also, I have one to add to the screencap. He would have missed every shot because he'd probably hold the gun like a retard like they do in all the rap videos that somehow pass for "education" amongst certain demographics. Jesus, at least consider a range trip or two first. Even Elliot Rodger managed to do this, why can't you.

And one more thing, maybe the suspect isn't dead because the fucking gun hit the floor when ordered. Food for thought.
