You can get pregnant as early as 4 weeks or 24 weeks after giving birth. The whole breastfeeding thing is a theory with little backing and there's other factors to take into consideration. Such as stress, sleep disturbances, and sickness. Also, having your period is in no way an indication you're ovulating after pregnancy.
