Interesting theory, apart from this bit. Intersex is a problematic term for people with variations of sexual development for this very reason - that so many people conflate it with troonism and think that it means people can be some kind of "halfway house" between male and female.
It's not the case. People with VSDs are either male or female. A tiny proportion of them can't be sexed correctly in utero or at birth and need further investigation there and then. Most are diagnosed later either because of co-morbid complications caused by their condition or at puberty when things don't go as expected.
The rate of transexuals amongst people with VSDs is about the same as in the general population.
