Sorry, I reversed it. Billy tried to sue him, but Apollo tried to counter-claim. He still, however, raised a GoFundMe for it then settled out of court.

Nobody has saved his suicide note/the description yet and it has a lot of interesting details.

He cries about his dad abusing him throughout his life and some traumatizing event where his dad strangled him. He also has scoliosis causing pain and making him throw up cause of his medication.
People are shitting on Keem, but he cites him in the end as being a "great friend".

I don't know much about the gaming world so feel free to give me shit, but the person who may have killed himself isn't the protagonist from King of Kong, is he? He seems too young to be him. This is somebody else that has crossed paths with Billy Mitchell?

> Apollo begins making videos about Todd Rogers and Billy Mitchell, (Two speedrunners of old with obvious and notoriously faked speedruns) these blow up and eventually Billy sues Apollo plus a bunch of others
> Apollo is alleged to of lost / did lose the suit and owed Billy
> Apollo makes fundraiser to appeal
> In between this he does some shitty things that EZScape and DarkviperAU call him out on

(Quick aside, these guys are speedrun commentators so they have no opinion except that of the status quo and what gets views, IMO I always found them very 'watered down'

Didn't his lawyer tell him the lawsuit would cost $10k max? Then when that money ran out he settled out of court with Billy Mitchell, removing all his videos on Mitchell's cheating. Sounds like a shyster gave him false hope.

Some retard he consulted with told him suing Billy for defamation would cost $10,000 at most. He started the GoFundMe based on that amount. He got a second opinion from Twin Galaxies' lawyer (whom Billy is also suing), and cancelled the GoFundMe. It took several months, but everyone apparently was refunded.

The settlement was to end Billy's lawsuit against Apollo. Apollo never initiated any legal action against Billy.
