Maybe I am weird but it is stuff like this that makes Calli my favorite. For me, the constant fuck ups, forgetting you aren't muted, accidentally streaming yourself, referring to "the narratives" specifically when doing a manga review and ruining the illusion that this hot yuri action is anything more than something cooked up by management - it makes her like the Norm MacDonald of Hololive and I am here for all of it.

The "hot yuri action" isn't cooked up by their management, it's something that Kiara and Calli started themselves. I don't think Kiara intended to be that thirsty (or Calli had no idea how far Kiara would go even though they did set up boundaries) but I feel they got really close just due to similar experiences. The ending of A Way Out that they did still shows how much they mean to each other since Kiara got legitimately furious over the ending of that game and Calli was trying damn hard to help her reign it in and cheer her up. Even when they thought the mics were muted you could still hear Kiara being upset.

I don't think Nene is actively trying to convince Deltaloe to come back to hololive, and since she probably stays in contact regularly she doesn't exactly "miss" her, but I have a feeling all of gen 5 are encouraging her to do what she thinks she can do best and may remind her that she can come back if she ever wants to. Still, that's something that she has to do on her own. Horse and water situation.

On that note, just a bit about it here since I know it pops up and y'all are far more reasonable than thirstposters everywhere else. One thing I'd like to bring up again is just the idea of the yuribaiting thing. Obviously it sells and in some cases it's true (Noel and Flare have 100% fucked according to some shit I've read here) but one thing that I think people fail to remember is the fact that you can love someone and not want to fuck them. I'm not sure if they're just naturally on-camera flirty or if it's because most women do this shit, but even when they're yuribaiting it's obvious they're just having fun with each other. Kiara and Calli especially; as thirsty as Kiara is, pretty sure Calli does enjoy the fact that she's actually started to make real friends in Japan even if they have to go home at some point. I've said it elsewhere but the type of dynamic they have going on, Calli definitely loves Kiara but it's the kind of love you have with a best friend. You never say "I love you" because that makes it weird but the sentiment is there. You don't just give someone hundreds of dollars worth of equipment because you're feeling generous, and you also don't try to plan a penthouse party with that person for shits and giggles.

Also: I think it's been a while since someone brought up something worthy of Karen doomposting, so here.

She may have grown out of it, but mall goth is beyond a phase. It's a state of being.

Oh yeah I don't think she's trying to convince her to come back to hololive either. I meant more of just supporting her in general like talking and keeping up with her. Theoretically, she should be able to move into Holohouse(which from what I heard is an apartment complex with good security) since I doubt Cover has a contract with the landlord to only allow Hologirls to rent there. Holohouse is the project by Coco and her mates, doubt Cover would meddle that much with the housing of grown ass women. So the thing that prevents Deltaloe(nice name) from moving in would be rent or herself.
