This is basically how I feel about it. I've got a handful of cool mutuals that seem to get me and I enjoy interacting with. My point was that so many "pre-debuts" and indies in general seem to care more about twitter than their streams and it almost feels like that's just the situation for nobodies.

That's because they don't actually care about streaming and they're just jumping on a bandwagon for clout most of the time.

I can cite one particular lolcow that I'm still keeping tabs on as a prime example of someone who has twice tried to break into vtubing just to chase clout. I don't think it's a stretch of the imagination whatsoever to assume that there's plenty of other people out there inclined to do much the same as well.

HeroHei himself for exagerating anything he finds and going "this is the end of Hololive", or the bugmen for not realizing Coco being a drug dealer is one of the oldest memes that's associated with her.
