Are you someone who follows and watches his content? You seem to be biased in his favor, generally. I don't care if you watch his stuff, but don't let that cloud your image of him. I've already expressed how I think he manipulates people and his fans intentionally and is good at it. You can see it in his interview with DarkViper where the real snake is Dream (in my opinion) and his age does not excuse that. There is no magical age where you are suddenly accountable for your actions, outside of some legal definitions.

I didn't look into him before this cheating thing and could definitely be wrong, but from what I have seen he's a scummy guy. Primarily due to his very intentional manipulation of his fans who are children and teens.
I got this feeling from his response video. In reality it is very underwhelming, and the evidence still points to him having cheated. But they way he presents it really bothered me. He complains over and over how the mods were biased against him, but instead of trying to step back and present everything objectively, he goes and presents it in his own even more biased way. It seems really immature and clearly an attempt to persuade children, especially with his shitty golden block visual representation thing.

Let's just hope he is only manipulating children for views and not nudes

Speaking about that response video, the math he used was absolutely abysmal and the author was some random dude he hired from a shady website.

I have a feeling you are talking about a guy named Mumbo Jumbo?
I was talking about Etho but I am willing to give Mumbo and most members of the hermicraft server the benefit of the doubt of being fairly normal. However I'm a bit uncertain at times since like I said some hermitcraft fans are getting a bit crazy and a fanbase effecting a creator for the worse doesn't seem that far fetched, plus I'm kind of expect them to end up like mindcrack sooner or later.

That video is manipulation from start to finish and that's where I noticed it most as well. He almost certainly knows what he's doing with his choice of words and everything presented on screen. Emphasis on astrophysicist from harvard constantly referenced as expert. The golden blocks to show his fans how ridiculous the odds are, many of which are so stupid they think he or someone individually placed those blocks ingame. Referencing the mods as inexperienced and young, so it makes sense their math would be off versus an expert. Listing all of the mods names in the community and then saying not to harass them...

You can pick any moment from that video and he's trying to manipulate the viewer. He also manipulates Darkviper in their interview, but it's different and probably what he does day-to-day since it's off the cuff.
I haven't checked out his muta vid yet but I am going to at least watch part of it to see if he's the same. At the end of each interview, both Darkviper and Mutahar apparently believe he didn't cheat, so his manipulation is probably usually successful.

He strikes me as the type of guy who would say, "Why would I lie about that?" to the shit he no doubt lies about but it's so ridiculous you start to think "Why WOULD he lie about that? Huh he must be telling the truth"

He acknowledged this in the Darkviper interview and said it's because he rushed the guy he paid to do the math so he could reference it in his video response.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. All I can hope is that he has a gun and he isn't afraid to shoot.

I feel like this thread should have been a community watch thread for autistic Twitter stans if there isn't one already. These fans are fuckin volatile.
as we've seen with kpop idols and japanese idols, having a stan community may be incredibly profitable, but if something happens then it all comes tumbling down. there have been cases of japanese idols being shamed and forced to shave their heads and essentially forced to quit their job because they had a boyfriend. having stans can, and will, come back to haunt you. honestly, he could have probably avoided the cheating allegations by saying "i just got lucky" instead of his "i've never modded anything in my life, i've never touched a computer, i don't know what a computer is, i can't type anything, and your math is wrong i got it checked by steven hawking and he has over 300 confirmed enemy kills"

no he couldn't avoid the cheating allegations by saying he got lucky. but his response video is just deceiving too

you could potentially write his sketchy luck off by saying he just simply got lucky, but his response video is the thing that 100% confirms that he cheated.

You really can't. The mathematical odds that he did this legit are absolutely absurd. That this looser cheated at digital lego speedrunning to impress his army of child stans is the only logical conclusion from the probability of drops he got in his game. Really pathetic stuff.

Except that someone weaponized autism and had a computer run simulations on those droprates millions of times and couldn't even get close. Dream is straight up retarded for thinking nobody that plays Minecraft would have the autism to sniff him out.

There was no way of ignoring it totally but I agree if he just said "I didn't cheat but I understand the incredible odds are weird, I'll just keep trying!" then it would have been better for him. Instead he makes a massive deal about it and invites further criticism from not only the Minecraft community, but the math nerds as well.

Please, god, just let this be the end of the Minecraft resurgence. I'll do anything
What's wrong with Minecraft being popular? I think it's one of the better games to be cool for so long, considering it's just digital legos with some optional survivaly stuff.

Pretty sure it was billions, if not trillions. Trillions would be well within the realm of possibility for a decent desktop depending on how long he ran the calculations.

I can't get screenshots since I'm on mobile now, but in Team Rooted's document on dream, there were Twitter DM logs of Dream and Generic (the guy that doxxed him), talking about how Dream apparently was very active in communities like Doxbin himself, so much so that he gained the respect of mods there. As to how true Dream's claims are on this, I'm ambivalent. Does anyone have any further speculations on this?
