They're moving on to Doctor Who? I guess it's something new.
I don't recall any of the main hosts ever talking much about Doctor Who. I highly doubt MauLer has watched very much of both old and new Dr. Who outside of his friends' (especially Drinker's) reviews. Is seems that MauLer is being led around by Jay in the future video, judging by the clip.
By the way, the archive of the video that was taken down by copyright is up, the first part that is.

They really missed the boat on this one. Everyone who already cared enough to be offended by hot takes has left the fanbase.

I suppose they may see this as similar to Batwoman where it has barely any fandom or viewer base left so that it may be hilariously bad because it is being kept alive out of obligation to Social Justice, etc. It may be fun. Who knows?

Shame. There isn't too much longer until Batwoman Season two, though.
I can vaguely recall him doing something similar to this before. He definitely records his reactions with his friends every time.

Edit: I remembered the precedent. During the GoT craze. Seems so long ago. Wolf was still around back then. He still hasn't completed those videos either. I doubt he even remembers them at this point. GoT is even less relevant than TFA in 2021.

Why is MauLer acting like he and HiTop are buddies after savaging him for the completely normal and reasonable take that Spider-Man 2 should be enjoyed for its cheesy elements? Seriously, he was such a dick to him for the pettiest reason.

He's being sarcastic. He does this to all of his enemies on Twitter. He disingenuously wished a happy birthday to Quinton a couple weeks ago, for example.

I've actually changed by mind a little. MauLer isn't being truly sarcastic towards HiTop. He genuinely hopes that he will make a positive review of the film so that he and his friends can do an EFAP on it. I don't think that they have targeted HiTop yet, and he seems eager to do so since the Spider-man 2 argument. He also needs positive review of WW84 so he can further milk this new trend.

Not sure if someone else posted this earlier, but he guested on Nerdrotic along with Drinker a couple days ago. I'll give it a watch.

Especially considering Mauler and Rags loved the Raimi trilogy for its cheesiness but then out of nowhere doubles back on it just because his number 1# fan Southpaw made a video trashing it.

Whoever said that the Fandom Menace Types are scared of MauLer is probably right. Even when MauLer isn't directly on the video they constantly feel the need to say that their enjoyment of some episodes of the Mandalorian isn't 'objective'. Drinker doesn't seem scared of him, though, and despite his flaws he's probably the most likeable of the bunch. When I first started watching the stream, I actually was thinking that the Fandom Menace pair on the stream were better than MauLer at talking about these subjects since they actually seem to be passionate about the subject, but they are even worse clickbait trend-chasers than him. They feel played out and hollow, and have probably talked about these subjects over and over again. They are a different type of animal than the EFAP crew who kowtow to him because he is 'smarter' and 'a better reviewer' than them. I once watched a Nerdrotic video where he basically said that he thinks his reviews and opinions are garbage and that MauLer and Drinker are the tope tier of reviewers.
