This is either a lie or the same insanity as that other absolute freak who kept their vagina and got a phalloplasty stitched onto their groin on that now deleted blog. Even if this is one of the nutcases who wants both sets of genitals, which after browsing their profile they appear to be, you'd be mounting your self-inducted giant skin tag on your mons pubis to keep your vagina which would arguably put you at risk of complications because of the C section. They have their own complications that can occur but you're basically making a huge cut right across an area that's likely providing blood flow to your phalloplasty because in keeping the vagina you stitch your flesh sock in a higher up position.

That's not even accounting for the risk of baby deciding to come when it wants, miscarriage, etc. that would require the use of the vaginal canal. You can ask almost any woman and her 'birth plan' usually went out the window because something unexpected happened. I urge you to look into how much it costs to rent in some places. Living in Ontario, Canada, you need to be at least two hours out from Toronto to get anything relatively decent rent-wise. Many people take the long commute to get from their home to their job in southern Ontario because renting in and around Toronto is a fucking nightmare. That $1139 is nowhere near a decent living wage in Canada with our inflated prices.

(That said, I hate that I'm essentially defending this troon but this needed a bit of perspective.)

Imo. The better question is why a disabled troon who probably isn't working is living in such a high cost area. If most of what you do is sit on the internet and whinge about troon shit there's no reason to live in one of the most expensive places in Canada. You can do that anywhere with an internet connection.

Yes, of course people are complex things and it's rare for a person to fit into one social category perfectly all the time. I find this sort of typology useful for understanding specific actions, not just by an individual, but the community as a whole. Sorry if I didn't make this clear.

You seem knowledgeable about sociology and psychology, so I'll use that as an excuse to bring up my favorite category that didn't even get mentioned in my revised typology: Literal Psychotics. People who actual suffer from schizophrenic delusions and come to believe, among other things, that their body is the wrong sex. It's quite common for schizophrenics to believe that their body is fundamentally wrong, and delusions about sexually dimorphic traits are no exception. Apparently something like one out of five schizophrenics suffer delusions of being the wrong sex, it's sometimes called "delusional pseudo-transsexualism". Here's an interesting article examine the possible link between schizophrenia and trannyism.
But these are schizophrenics. It's no different than a schizophrenic believing that he's the King of France or that Dial Soap is stealing his name. Surely no one is indulging these unhealthy delusions, right?

You basically answered your own question here. Even if this troon lived in a rural area, it'd still be struggling. The more rural you go, the less access to things you have which makes it even worse for someone who has no one to rely on for important things like groceries. Internet isn't cheap in rural areas and wireless service in Canada is a joke. Canada is the one place you can make $14/hour and still have to work three jobs to get anywhere.

Sometimes I wonder if too much exposure to screen time/computers/TV at a young age contributes to Autism and other mental illnesses. So many of us born after 1980 were raised in front of a screen, particularly those of us with cable access and internet access. Having a stay-at-home mother is no preventative measure as many mothers of the 1980s era were also glued to their screens (soap operas, cable news, etc) and modern day at-home mothers are often obsessed with facebook and instagram posting. Let's face it, human beings are lazy. If a child is entertained via a box or screen, people will resort to that to keep their child preoccupied. Even parents who try to prevent children from this situation get undermined by spouses, grandparents and other care givers (and even institutions like schools) who plunk kids in front of screens.

It seems people born after 1980 generally tend to be more prone to Autism, Aspergers, inability to socialize in a healthy way, over-reliance on internet for human contact... it wouldn't shock me if schizophrenia rates were also higher. Being raised by a screen can't be healthy.

Wouldn't be shocked if the propensity to be swayed or manipulated by online propaganda was much higher in those individuals who were "raised by screens".

I don’t think the prevalence of autism is greater these days, but I think we treat it very differently. Back in the day you were just “that weird kid”. You got bullied a bit and maybe got WAY into model airplanes or something but you were just considered weird or awkward. Now you get a diagnosis, and while that can help people get the social skills they need young it also labels them as “broken” in some way. Not to mention that in more severe cases parents would just put their kid in a home somewhere or a special school. They wouldn’t be expected to be mainstreamed at all
If you look back you can see examples of learning disabilities in the past being glossed over when you didn’t need a college degree and a resume by 16 to get a halfway decent job. Infamously Bill Cosby used to lightly make fun of his “dumb brother Russ”. Turned out Russ was diagnosed with dyslexia as an adult and once he learned how to deal with it, he wasn’t dumb at all.

I think where society took a bad turn is when it decided that neurodivergence is acceptable in society. Up to a point sure, get excited about Star Wars, be a bit jittery, get loud when talking about something that you love, but you have to learn how to sit down and respect other people’s voices and time. And you have to learn that not everyone likes Picard more than Kirk and that’s ok. And you have to get a job and do your best in social situations. Hell, find a job where social interaction doesn’t matter too much.

It’s sad, because I work with so many brilliant people that are so obviously on that spectrum, and I can see how much better their younger counterparts are at social situations because they received help and guidance, but Lordy, some folks just fall through the cracks and society has decided to indulge in that fall rather than help them back up and it’s just a sad waste.

As for the study. Well, duh, but Eesh. The study isn’t too great. Tiny numbers (as would be expected) but it’s tiny numbers over the course of 2 years. In the Air Force. Where you’re exercising a whole lot.
