Would it be super weird and conspiracy tard brain sounding to suggest after the LA riots and landslide victory for Clinton, that media groups and journalists were hoping to do a repeat and thus all the nonstop news articles and constant racewar shit going on nonstop?
Because, if not. I bet after Biden gets in it suddenly will be dark as hell and low volume on those topics. Might be a very bland year or three.

I know the mayor of Portland finally called out Antifa after winning his reelection and now wants to sweep up the Antifa protesters. Biden will probably do something similar when it comes to the riots and try to be as moderate as possible. Basically, Biden's presidency will be boring unless he dies or a war happens.

Actually if you check the research paper that all of those articles cite, the paper admits that the large urban gatherings during the pandemic were reckless and stupid, and that it was probably the behavior of literally everyone else that wasn't a protester that kept the COVID cases down.

Back in that wacky wahoo floyd thread, I had suggested a good strategy for Trump would be to host a press conference, every day, of the Portland and NYC riots & the government response - recap them, or just play footage of them. tbh I don't even remember what he did. I'd make the classic mean spirited joke about bringing fireworks to the rally and having someone yell "Look out he's got a gun!" to trigger a stampede or something, but it occured to me that since the ANTIFA and BLM rioters actually brought large amounts of fireworks with them and set them off at random, you actually can't make that joke anymore. Since now bringing fireworks and other low level explosives to a "peaceful protest" is just par for the course.

I think that this is exactly the reason a lot of Biden voters voted for him low-key. It was an act of surrender. Give the system what it wants, so it'll leave them the fuck alone. Not necessarily saying he's the most popular presidential candidate ever through legitimate means, but I do think that gave him some pull among non-orange man bad crazies. Hell, lots of people on this very site low-key want Biden to be inaugurated for exactly that reason. An overturn of his win will unleash the gates of hell.
