Yeah it bothers me a lot that nobody seems to think about the other side of the coin. Groupthink insisting that a 17-year-old is a "literal child" is fucked up in its own right.The infantization of woman online concerns me. What do teens and young adults gain by ignoring their own autonomy besides clout?
Cause see, that side of the laws/attitudes applies to basically EVERY kid.
And on top of the infantilisation is the fact that if you give a teen a phone they're pretty much 100% going to do dumb shit with the cameras. An entire generation feeling like criminals while stuck in a limbo of maturity & agency can't be the point of this stuff. Or is it?
