You have the right to your opinion and it's clear you're not taking this blatant electoral fraud and other assorted bullshit very well, but this is still a fucking stupid post to make. Right up there with the people on /pol/ predicting the death knell for the GOP when Romney lost in 2012. Go outside and take a few deep breathes and realize that you're being very stupid right now.
No, you explain to me how the party is going to recover. GOP got record numbers in 2020 and still lost. This was the base going off on all cylinders, and the GOP had every legislative and judicial capability to reverse the fraud - but the GOP chose to commit suicide instead.

We should not accept blind "we'll get em next time"-ism anymore. That's exactly what gives the establishment justification to throw their candidates under the bus. Even if you hate Trump, the fact that various election law loopholes were not closed in the months prior to the GA runoff speaks volumes as to how badly the GOP wants to lose at every level. So give us your little game plan, however vague or uninformed, or leave the conversation. Because clearly you don't wish to contribute to moving forward.

I expected the Republican candidates to do much worse, to be honest. So, many Republicans are still voting even with how weak and useless the party currently is overall. I think Republicans have a good chance of at least taking the House in 2022. I still think the Democrat Party is in a weak position with Biden, Harris, and Pelosi leading it and the Odd Squad being all-around tards.
The amount of Republican support in 2022 is, indeed, very promising.

But given what has happened over the past year, those numbers don't matter anymore. We live in a Banana Republic now.

Well, first of all, electoral reform is necessary to prevent this kind of blatant electoral fraud from occurring again, secondly, populist and anti-globalist conservatives are going to have to slowly work to build a movement within the GOP to take it back from the globalist assholes who have ruined it. @Zero Day Defense went into detail about what would be necessary a few weeks ago, but the TL;DR aside from the above is that the change necessary will be neither quick, nor easy, but it IS doable.

That's a goal, not a plan. How are those things going to happen? Senate is gone. Legislatures are going to be dealing with the virus, and the rumor mill in DC is that election law will be increasingly federalized.

You're a frog in a boiling pot. How are we gonna turn down the heat? "Try the knobs". Uhhh, how we gonna reach the knobs? You want to crawl on that hot stove?

By political activism, dude. Also the senate isn't actually gone, Manchin has stated that he won't be supporting any crazy far-left shit and the rumor mill doesn't mean shit to me. If you're a frog in a boiling pot, you jump out of the pot and get to the knobs as it were regardless of the heat of the stove.

Trump significantly increased his turnout from 2016 and got blown away. Look, even if somehow 2022 is a GOP house victory we spend the next two years powerless and eating shit. Biden is going to spend those two years working on his "path to citizenship" plan which means there's gonna be a lot more blue voters on the rolls no matter what we do.

If you're a gun owner, prepare to be ground into a fine paste. The gun control plan on Biden's campaign website includes bans on private sales, manufacturing bans on most modern gun designs, and a plan to reclassify pretty much everything but old deer rifles and joe's trusty old trap gun as "assault weapons" that must be registered on the same federal registry as machine guns and grenade launchers. Getting on that registry requires that each item have a $200 tax stamp, and it looks like he wants fucking magazines to require registration as well. I can't wait to pay $200 to keep a $10 pmag, fuck everything

Is there any chance the Democratic Senate will not vote in lockstep when it comes to time to railroading everything they need to irreparably reshape this country? I think it is a bit of a longshot to count on Manchin for anything.

What makes you think Biden will be capable of getting any of that gun control past 50 GOP senators + Manchin exactly? Immigration is trickier, he may be able to do some damage there, but anything serious that requires congressional approval likely won't happen

I think the ban on private sales of guns is too ambitious, and honestly not really desirable. You start pushing people towards 3D gun production at that point, and when that becomes fully "a thing the average gun owner does" then there's really no stopping it short of banning the 3D printers. Prohibition never works.
The better "solution" is just to tax them to hell. They can have their AR-15, but it'll cost as much as a new car and they have to pay yearly to keep it registered.

Biden has nothing to do with anything. It's the Democrat party. They have very good whips, and rarely break ranks now. Remember the Blue Dogs? Lol, those were the days weren't they? Now not even THE SQUAD can muster enough strength to step out of line.

you mean this guy, right?

“I’m a proud outdoorsman and huntsman, like many Americans, and I like shooting, but this doesn’t make sense,” Manchin said. “I don’t know anyone in the sporting and hunting arena who goes out with an assault rifle; I don’t know anyone who needs 30 rounds in the clip to go hunting.”

Random House’s Jon Meacham added that other parts of the Bill of Rights have exceptions to keep people safe.

“The First Amendment isn’t absolute either, you can’t yell ‘fire’ in a crowded theater,” he said. “We all give up some limits on our liberty in order to live in a social compact, that’s what a Republic is.”

Manchin is a fudd dickhole who already tried to pass a bipartisan ban on private sales with Pat Toomey, I know who he is and I know he's not my friend

This is how the blue dogs always are. They're in swing districts/red states, and act like they're "the good kind of democrat", but in reality if you ask them what their vision of the future should be like - it is identical to AOC's future. Forget the frog boiling in the pot, this is wolf in sheep's clothing. They have to hide their real beliefs because of where they're from.

Why are we worried about laws? They don't matter.
This is kind of the prohibition thing. If the laws are too strict, but can hypothetically be bypassed if you know what you're doing and can do so in private; then the government can do fuck all. Look at Internet piracy. They can make it a felony all they like, the torrents are hosted in Eastern Europe and Indonesia. The files get shared in secret and the best the government can do is put on a show trial every so often. The vast majority slip through the net. And because now you've thrown regulation completely to the wind, enjoy your MG-42's turning up in some rando /k/ommando's gun collection and oh no did some nutjob just shoot up a school with a 3D printed Glock 19? B-b-b-but we made those illegal!

So you really got to go with the chafing but still reasonable sounding laws and regulations. Get the gun owners for tax violations.

Uhh dude? Regardless of what Manchin may or may not have said, his voting record says something a bit different. https://www.ontheissues.org/Domestic/Joe_Manchin_III_Gun_Control.htm

Because trying to battle against the globalists + law enforcement with pointless nihilistic mass murder campaigns doesn't work. This ain't 18th century France where enough dead or disloyal officers/feds means you get to become a tyrant in their place.
That's true. But then who's snitching if I have something on me?

Okay, so one interview he says he wants to ban everything but deer rifles and the next he says he opposes AWBs. Cool, he's the quantum superposition of gun laws. I wonder what it'll be this time? Here's hoping he collapses into the Manchin you quoted instead of the same Manchin that I also quoted

With this character's death, the thread of prophecy is severed. Restore a saved game to restore the weave of fate, or persist in the doomed world you have created.

Politicians say all sorts of shit, it's what they vote for and why that counts. Manchin voted against "high capacity" magazine bans, vetoed restrictions on automatic weapons sales in the state of West Virginia when he was governor and has an A rating from the NRA regarding his support for firearm rights. He's not perfect, no, but something tells me he won't be going along with Biden's gun control plans assuming Biden even seriously bothers trying to push them through.
