Not surprising. If Trump doesn't get this dealt with in short order(or at least genuinely attempt to deal with it), either Congress will get sufficiently pissed off to impeach him and genuinely remove him, or Pence and the cabinet will get pissed off enough to use the 25th amendment to declare him incapable of discharging his duties and remove him from power so Pence can do it.

Even in the unlikely event that neither happened, Congress will just meet elsewhere finish the proceedings confirming Biden as the next president, and Trump will look even worse for the history books for letting rioters storm the capitol and doing nothing. As in it'll make him look weak and incompetent for not being able to control a crowd.

Trump is going into the history books as Nazi fascist no matter what he does, that part is forgone. Nothing he can ever do will erase the unprecedented smear job they've done on him or the bullshit smear job about him that they will force us to swallow for generations. Just as much of our history is fake, so will this era be painted in shades of shit brown.

Slight powerlevel, heard from a family member (a former glowie) that the generals are in bed with the banks and Military Industrial Complex. However, the colonels who actually deploy the troops and all that are actual constitutionalists. This may actually lead to a real revolution.
