*Sits back and opens beer*

This is fucking hilarious. Dems are shitting themselves now that there tactics are used against them.
They're not scared at all. This is great fuel for their side and there won't be a single voice allowed to say "this is a peaceful protest of a government building".
No one in that group is going to start killing politicians, burning down building or tossing molotovs. They'll pose for some pictures, get arrested, spend the rest of their lives in jail and democrats will use this to crackdown on all dissenting opinions.

My main question in all of this is what will happen with republican party in coming years? Cause this event can't be good optics for them and I don't think several trump supporters would even back them anymore.
A split & death to one of the splits.

Both Democrats and Republicans will go the way of the Federalists.

When Trump said he was gonna run again in 2024, I laughed out loud.

Now next time he says that (and he will), I might just pass out from lack of oxygen.
I ain't voting for him even if I did vote for him twice. At some point you are just too old to be President. I don't care how physically capable he would be his brain will have long turned to mush by then. There needs to be a law in this country limiting how old one can be to run for President.

the funny thing about Texas V White, which is the postwar decision where they decided secession was illegal is that it couldn’t find justification in the consitution, and so had to cite the articles of confederation.
The decision was also a bit tainted because any other outcome would have meant that the states which made up the former confederacy would have had to assume all the CSA’s debt, which was the actual cause of action in question that lead the court to rule on whether the states had ever actually legally seceded
I wonder what they'd decide if there were a Brexit-style mutual divorce?

Kind of nice to see normal people and regular autistics chimp for once instead of the usual burnt-out, green-haired gutter addict literal orc monstrosities we've watched for the last year.

NPR guidance: we won’t be calling the people who stormed the Capitol ‘protestors’ - they are ‘pro-Trump extremists’ and what they are doing is ‘insurrection’.
