El Comandante had the radio on in the Bunker around noon Pacific Time after I got a text from a relative saying shit was going down at the US Capitol. Turned on the CBS radio station from the nearest bigly yuge city and they were streaming audio from CBSN which is the 24/7 "news" outlet of CBS.

Without the video, you could really hear the panic in the voices of the reporters, they really believed that shit was going down for a while and that the Trumpers were on the verge of starting a revolution. They put McCarthy who is the House Minority Leader on air, he was shitting his pants too, he was trying to remain calm but you could tell he was fucking terrified shitless. Everybody was ranting in unison "this is not America, this is not who we are, we are supposed to disagree peacefully, yadayadayada!!!!11" and you could just hear the utter fucking FEAR in their voices as they really were thinking "oh shit, the Day Of The Rope is here and there's a noose with my name on it!"

You wanted a fucking revolution, you got one motherfuckers!

The Jacobins probably thought that their little rebellion against the King of France would be a nice quiet affair...until their necks were being placed in the guillotines. Clue: the guys who start revolutions are LONG gone by the time they end. The guy who winds up in power at the end is the two star colonel nobody had ever heard of.

Getting really hard to imagine that this isn't used as a pretext for the Great Reset shit to be implemented. The visuals and rhetoric from this and COVID are all converging at precisely the right moment to usher in the First Galactic Empire for a safe and SECURE society. Just lol at the people who keep insisting that we're going back to something recognizable as traditional American life from here on out.
