Half of the country thinks the election was stolen, that they're being persecuted, their country is being stolen from them and they just stormed the capital building...I know, let's call them domestic terrorists. Surely that will calm down the situation. - a very smart and not inbred jew

You are extremely naive if you think it means 3rd party being formed. When the entire system rejects your pleas and says you're an enemy of the state while standing up for your rights you don't see the system as a viable option any more. These people see left and right as the enemy, all of big tech and journalism as the enemy. They don't want to co opt the system, they want to tear it down and replace it entirely. Being the guy who takes bribes isn't going to interest them
This. It's about as wishful thinking I once thought four years ago with Bernie Sanders, and the DNC imploding on themselves.

Self-exile is more likely. He will never get access to an audience again.
The average wignats complete financial and social deplatforming will look mild if he tries *anything* of that sort.

Unless it is establishment approved, he will be fucked if he tries anything like that.

Antifa has been doing this on a smaller scale for months,
Last year they torched a highrise housing complex along with most everything in a 10 block radius of it. And that's only one week in one city. Their scale incomparably dwarfs today.

Well I have to say, if there's one guy that's sharp, energetic and charismatic enough to heal the division in this country....it's definitely Joe Biden. He speaks to all of us, even if it sounds like he has marbles in his mouth half the time.

Trump was a result of the American decline and people wanting to rebel against the establishment.
I think you're both right actually.

The decline of America and the lies of the establishment have led directly to this moment. Every action has an equal opposite reaction, Obama got elected out of a desire for change, he subverted that. Trump got elected out of a stronger desire for change, he subverted that.

What comes next might not be pretty, be it a person or event, I'm not dumb enough to claim what it will be.

It's actually kinda exciting to be hopeful about third parities rising up since the GOP is probably dead or will be rebuilding for a long time and dems just eat themselves
I think we're very slowly leaning in the direction of third parties being taken more seriously, but I think we're still many election cycles away from a third party candidate having a real chance, let alone winning.

One of the issues is that, when someone who could theoretically run as a third party and actually get supporters, they tend to be courted by whichever party they lean towards. It's hard to ignore that siren call, since both parties have tons of resources and assistance to promise, plus the fear of splitting the vote and all that jazz. People know it's hard for voters to vote outside of their normal party, and even if they are interested in said third person, they could just vote along their usual party lines at the end of the day.

Civil War 2 is inevitable. You can't stop the dream.

They got sweeped relatively peacefully off the premises. There was a total of one death and it was on the MAGA side. You'll have to forgive me if I'm not seeing this as the big radical uprising others think it is.

At least Antifa last longer than a few hours. This was just pathetic.
its easy to last a whole summer when you have the backing of the entire deep state and no push back from law enforcement.

This is why you Americans should never give up the 2nd Amendment as the police are not on your side.
The only reason I ever sided with cops this past summer is because I know the ACAB idiots don't want cops defending themselves, and therefore, don't want private citizens defending themselves either.

Antifa has been doing this on a smaller scale for months, the boomers just got started. We've got several months of this to go unless Biden cracks down hard. The seed of radicalization has been planted in many people's hearts this year, all thanks to the media.
Can't imagine that this will go for months, at least to any large degree. The MAGA boomers won't be allowed to. There are different rules for different sides and everyone knows it. Antifa had the benefit of nearly all of the the media and lots of government officials backing them by either ignoring them, claiming they didn't exist, claiming that if they did exist that they're just an idea, or saying that Antifa stands for "anti-fascist" and therefore they're good.

The MAGA boomers will be presented as the last dying gasp of white America (which is a little bit true), but that it's a good thing. It'll be the whole "racist, white supremacist, etc." label with no nuance and no one is going to bat an eye at a bunch of conservative white people getting their shit kicked in if Biden decides to go hard on them (which he'll be able to pretty easily I'd think). The boomers will fold, go home and grill angrily and then lose again in four years.
