Oh, I don't really like populism that much, personally. But I think it's important to have populism as an active political element. It's a pressure valve that keeps other elements in check and fights to keep some level of representation for the little guy. Now, the little guy in my eyes tends to be pretty gullible and prone to trying to impose what he likes onto me, so I don't want it to be the top dog. But now, like. Populist-right just shot itself in the foot, this is gonna get used as a pretense to clamp on populist-left -- and I do believe that, absolutely.

My life'll be fine and it won't really change at all, so don't interpret that as me spazzing out. See it as someone that, say, is a Browns fan or is worried about China's impact on the global ecology. I'm mildly annoyed that things are the way they are, and I'm definitely annoyed that a bunch of self-righteous idiots who can't laugh at themselves dragged me into a world-state where it is this way.
