And that media treatment is unfair, which is a major facet of the larger problems. This has been bubbling up for 20 years at least.
But what happened yesterday was also effective, which is why the pushback is that much greater.
No businesses burned. No houses attacked. No pedestrians sucker punched or pulled out of their cars.
Just a direct protest inside and around the US Capitol building. That pulls the curtain back way too far. They were supposed to stay in the street and fight and cause general disarray, not scare those with power so much that they have a panic attack.
