There's actually no hypocrisy. The left doesn't believe in universal values, their values are the Leninist values of who/whom.

The rightness of an action depends precisely on who takes the action.

If we're talking about the type of anti-universal leftist philosophy informed by critical theory then there is actually hypocrisy, at a deeper level.

If the rightness of an action depends on who takes the action, then where does the rightness of that statement derive from?
If we should elevate subjectivity and agree that looking for objective truth is wrong or impossible, then how come we should accept that imperative as the only objective truth?

basically, the assertions of the philosophy are unsupportable within the philosophy. It's a paradox.

It's hilarious when "white" liberals particularly say if blacks did this they'd get shot, slaughtered, etc (like there wasn't a massacre), but blacks actually did THIS exact same thing in the 60s in California and nobody was shot

It's kinda sad how the old Far leftist look more based than the current ones. Guess be being raised in a conservative household does that to you.

They should've but it's whatever. The only good thing that came out of this was the fear in the politicians face when they realize nobody is afraid of them and will not stand for the bullshit.
Which is why they'll throw the book at them.

That picture of the Congress cretins cowering in abject terror as unarmed Trump supporters took selfies in the chamber is fucking golden.

All the talk about how the cops would slap down any rebellion is just that, talk. The cops can't handle a few boomers wanting to have a word with their Congressmen or a couple of hundred joggers on a shopping spree. If was men with guns they'd fold in a nanosecond.

Justification follows action, not vice versa.

Most of the extreme left are sexual degenerates who want a society where they get to fuck whatever meat sack they feel like and be celebrated for it.

A huge proportion of Antifa are open podophiles (for example). Christianity is anathema to them, which is why they hate it so much.

So I know that the doxing double standard has been around for a long time, but I'm genuinely surprised no one has gone out of their way to report these violations of Twitter TOS, not in the hopes that they act on it and more to gather evidence of discriminatory corporate behavior.

I guess the moral is that according to the powers that be, doxing is wrong, but doxxing is totally kosher.
I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm not enough of a bitch to start tattling.

I don't mind doing legwork for others to find and hopefully laugh at, but actually bringing down authority on someone makes me feel fucking filthy.

I suspect this is a problem a lot of the more normal people have so I'm not sure where the fuck I got it from.

'Vintage white rage': Why the riots were about the perceived loss of white power

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/nbcblk...iots-were-about-perceived-loss-white-n1253292 (https://archive.vn/C7HtC)
Excerpt:
A far-right, pro-Trump mob stormed the U.S. Capitol with Confederate flags and weapons in an attempt to stop members of Congress from counting Electoral College votes on Wednesday. Senators and representatives ran for cover, remaining on lockdown until the extremists left.

The response by both law enforcement and political leaders is still being parsed out, but activists and scholars say there is a deeper, underlying issue that must be considered: Violent expressions of white power are the norm when white anger and resentment rooted in racism exists.

When I watch the news and hear people ask "Why weren't there more police? Why weren't they better prepared?" I remind myself the news never asks questions that aren't already answered.

Always, follow the money. If you were facing eminent budgetary de-funding due to political causes, wouldn't you orchestrate a counter-cause?

He stood up and gave a speech that all but called on his supporters to storm the Capitol. And guess what? They did what he asked them to do.

Now the blowback is effecting him personally he's thrown them away like a used tampon.

Trump raised 250 million to 'fight the steal'. Not one cent of that money will be used to pay the legal costs or bail for the poor fucks who're about to be on the receiving end of one of the biggest no lube ass rapes in American legal history.

Most of the people who took part are middle class boomers. Decent ordinary people who wanted to fight for their President. They aren't extremists or criminals. For the crime of strolling into the Congress uninvited they will be charged as terrorists. They're looking at years of hard time in a Federal Pen. Locked up 24 hours a day in solitary, with one hour exercise in a cage if they're good. Not to mention the poor fucks who died during the protest. Who's going to feed their families and comfort their children?

Trump is 100% responsible for this. All this and he cucks? Fuck him.
I don't know why anyone should act surprised over this. It's been obvious from the beginning that Trump is merely a grifter who exploited his supporters for their political convenience by feeding them empty, populist soundbites, while not actually believing in anything himself aside from his own self-interest and self-aggrandizement.

Whatever legacy he may have had is in tatters now. He's spent the last 4 years failing to deliver on his campaign promises, lying to his supporters habitually, scoring own goals and generating scandal, and now, in his final hour, he's deserted his most fervent supporters and left them to the wolves with not so much as a whimper, while the institutional apparatus around him is in crisis. That is how he is going to be remembered by historians, and it's the legacy he deserves.

The smart play here by Biden and the Democrats would be to take a page from Lincoln and appeal to the better Angel's. Biden Pardononing the MAGA chuds who went Rabble rabble at the Capital would be a huge gesture that would be pretty hard to top and start his Presidency off on the right foot. You know, about bridging the divide.

Sadly I know this wont happen. The far left wants blood and now that Trump is on the out the Media needs a new enemy to fear monger about for ratings. We had for an entire year a tidlewave of "fiery but mostly peaceful protests" that the Democrats not only actively encouraged through the media but even used their political power where available to protect and accelerate. More then 30 people were killed and tens of billions of dollars lost to property destruction. Property destruction I still see not repaired to this day in my home town. It holds not a candle to what happened at the Capital and the injured shrieking from the Media comes across as nothing less then hypocritical rantings from a power structure that long ago lost any semblance of respect.

I do not like the course of history our political leadership has chosen and I see a marked unwillingness to change it. It is not an Abberation that thousands of people went to DC and decided storming Congress was a Good Idea. This is indicative a very very serious issue because for every person in that crowd there were at least 100 other people watching it happen and applauding. This is massively dangerous and there seems to be zero awareness among the political class of just how dangerous this is. The First American Civil War did not break out spontaneously. There was a steady escalation. Random acts of violence and outrages that compounded over a period of 20 years. Two senators beating the shit out of each other on the floor of the Senate. Bleeding Kansas, John Browns Raid on Harpers Ferry. All incidents that in there individuality were minor. But were symptomatic of a larger problem boiling under the surface.

And in today's hyper partisan media environment, the incentive is to turn up the heat, not turn it off. God save the Republic.

I didn't listen to the speech because I had better things to do than listen to some bullshit that I assumed was going nowhere so I can't comment on its contents. The belief from Trump's supporters that this one last gambit will finally get Trump his second term has been rampant since November 4th though. People have been primed for this sort of action even with Trump MIA until yesterday. If Trump's intentions were to have his supporters storm the capitol and change the outcome of the election then his actions afterwards didn't align with that theory. That's why I don't think he intended anything to happen that hasn't usually happened since the Stop the Steal shit started. Boomers have come to DC made a scene, inflated Trump's ego and that's been about it.

To be fair, it was just one person trampled. This makes the event far less deadly than your average Black Friday. It's perfectly okay to trample each other for really good deals on consumer electronics!

Oh, he did? Why didn't everyone there do it, then? Why was it, at most, a couple hundred people freaking out among the thousands who were just peacefully protesting? Did he just poorly convey his obvious command to commit insurrection?

Stop being so fucking dramatic. You're playing right into the narrative these soulless mainstream media outlets want to create (and establish as the official truth) about what happened. They don't need any fucking help. They've been creating mountains out of mole hills every day for four years and getting hysterical people to fall in line.

Technically correct, NBC. Their anger and resentment is rooted in racism: your racism toward them. You treat them like animals, they'll act like animals. Maybe try giving the "white people need to be exterminated" angle a rest for ten seconds and see if it helps? I suspect it might.

Yeah not even close to the mark. Shit on Trump for completely failing but the one thing Trump always had was his beliefs and his "gut" which he's been remarkably consistent about through the years.

He got booed loudly at the Republican debate for speaking out against the Iraq war and Bush. He's been nursing his populism for decades but nobody in power wanted what he did so he made some trade deals and peace deals and built a few hundred miles of wall but nothing much else got done.

I’ve been saying “kill wh*toids” for years, but everyone thinks its a joke. :heart-empty:

That's fair, and to be honest, I probably wouldn't either IF I was on Twitter just to not draw attention to myself. I also suspect that this will be like the heyday of MeToo again, where speaking out during the heat of the denunciations and witch hunts will cause people to bay for your head as well, so I don't blame people for not sticking their heads above the trenches.
