People don't remember the libtard groups burning down shit from the summer which was 6-7 months ago and the same will go for Qtards raiding the capitol building. Trump was the best thing to happen to the republicans in a long longass awhile and people are going to forget the bad stuff especially if the old bad stuff pales in comparison to the new bad stuff.
What new bad stuff? Biden has two hecking cute dogs and wears socks with trans flags on them <3

Look man they elected a corpse to office and his replacement is equally incompetent and only knows how to suck her way to power but not out of a bad situation. Everyone who is running the show is behind the scenes and each one of those people is thinking how to stab the other in the back. It literally won't take much to have things get out of control.

On balance if I had to risk death for an exceptional political cause I'd go with BLM over Drumpf. In one case I'd get a bail fund, endless free press and support from every center of power, in the other I'd get shot by security and then get disavowed on my deathbed while the guy I was backing checks if he has enough shekels to avoid prison.

Plenty of BLM and antifa people have went to prison for nice stretches so the "support from every center of power" only goes so far, but the Qtards are going to prison even harder.

Not going to happen. Trump will be one of the most memorable presidents. In the distant future when all the hot emotions of the day have faded, he'll probably be a popular underdog story. When you step back his tale is crazy and fascinating. Accomplishing a bunch of dry political stuff might be helpful for the people living in that era, but then you become the fly over country of history.

Trump should have just gone all in and embraced the infamy of his legacy, if he really wanted to commit. Even though he's old, I'm sure he'd rather go back to his golden palace than leave an even more dramatic end note for history. It's understandable.

Trump's story is basically like the plot of movie we all got to be extras in.
There's a reason he was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize, for actual accomplishments, unlike his predecessor, who got the prize for...nothing. And for some reason too many forget he cooled things down with North Korea when they expected war. Trump stood up to China, while Biden will be on his knees sucking Xi's cock very soon.

Believe this time next year people will be wishing the election hadn't been stolen from Trump, and he was still running the country. Just glad I have no kids in the military, and that I'm too old to be recalled to active duty.

Lol, wait until those "unlucky" ones get million-dollar book deals.

This might actually be good of the Republicans in the long run because Trump is now completely over and Trumpism is now crippled. So now they can go back to being corporate bitches for cash like Romney wants.

Trump completely played himself because he refused to listen to reason. I give him a 1% chance of avoiding jail.

Even great meme Chilean man feels trump was cheated by everyone.

The phrasing there is kindof arbitrary, since you could say the material "wasn't posted with the intent of harassment or intimidation," since there are no calls to it.

You might say that's pretty clearly some random schmuck at this guy's house who has no business being there because he's clearly not cbschicago, and I would agree with you that this is a case where someone's sending out a pretty obvious signal to anyone who sees it. Just that they can potentially weasel out of it.

Whoever designed the ToS probably thought "harassment or intimidation" would always come in clear and obvious forms, and they're struggling to get their auditors to figure out if this constitutes either of those things (I would not be surprised if low-level CS for this shit was based in another country, too).

The best solution, imo, to avoid this kind of shit would be to blanket ban people appearing who don't consent to. (And twitter never would anyway, it wants that video data.)
Beyond that, I think this wiggle-room is always going to favor shit like this.
Whoever designed the ToS is probably looking the other way whenever it's violated to harm people they don't like.

This meme did not age well because of this.

Trumpism was the only thing keeping the party afloat. People do not want the neoliberal status quo.

Trump called the national guard out to put down his own supporters.

He refused to do it when Antifa and their jogger pets were burning down small businesses and churches and murdering his voters. But a few hysterical Congress cretins shit themselves when some boomers walk into the Capitol building to take some selfies and he drops the hammer in seconds.

Seriously stop with this shit.

Trump openly threatened to put troops on the streets during the height of the riots. Every asshole and his mother called him Hitler and a dictator for even talking about doing it. He was threatened with impeachment. A republican congressman who tried to explain the legal justification for doing so was lambasted and had his article removed from the publication he wrote for, while the editor who allowed him to submit it was canned. He got into a shouting match with his own generals about it. The fact is, the optics were bad to send troops into American cities at the time because the media and government were against it. The optics were too bad to not send them in now.

You'll be lucky if you get a "Watergate" type TV series based on Trump. Worst you'll get is a "Last 10 days" judging by how retarded the next two weeks get.
Either way, he'll be remembered as one of the country's worst presidents. You're absolutely insane if you think any bit of the last 4 years is going to be reflected on positively.

Based Bowser.
I never said I thought it would be positive. People love the story of Caligua too. There's a reason why "May you live in interesting times." Is viewed as a curse. I could see the sting that people feel now fading into it more regarded as more of a lark some generations out.

Trump's story was full of a lot of fantastic human drama. He was an underdog, because you don't see random celebrities becoming president often. It was noteworthy and it was fascinating.

I think in another 50-100 years you'll find people still remember Trump for that time we elected a celebrity to our highest office, rather than just be one of the completely brushed over presidents.

People will leverage their vote however they need to. Politicians will stay away from Trumpian themes for the forseeable future.

If the right wants anything done it will have to be using their pocketbooks. That's the only way to win leverage back.

Most people seriously don't remember what happened 5 minutes ago. That's one of the ways the left can be successful. People only remember what they're constantly reminded about.

The second you start applauding Frankfurt School fuckery, is the second I automatically discount everything you have to say.
Phenomenology isn't related to the Frankfurt School at all. Heidegger was a Nazi (admittedly a pretty lax one considering he was banging his Jewish student Arendt and friends with Husserl) and Husserl was a typical German Idealist influenced mostly by Kant and Aristotle.

I'm not trying to defend Trump too hard here because this is ultimately still his fuckup that he helped instigate and is now trying to run away from, but DC NG were deployed during jogger riots last summer. They didn't really do much in the end, but they were there and it's where you're getting a lot of the 'they would've Tiananmen Squared us for this!' from BLM and their enablers with the picture of Guardsmen on the Capitol steps back in June. The cry was for Trump to activate federal troops which he hasn't done in either circumstance.

You'd be surprised the number of people in tech who get to make decisions like this that never, ever think of anything beyond the best-case scenario -- like essentially all of AI.

It's possible, but hanlon's razor pops up a disturbing amount of times with this stuff.

What you guys are missing is that people didn't riot because of Trump.

People rioted because they're pissed off.

Trump going away won't just suddenly calm them down. :story:
Ding, ding, ding! WINNAH!

Trump the man may fade from the scene. Trumpism and populism will not. The American people also saw their precious congress cower on the floor when faced with AMERICANS, not foreign soldiers or foreign terrorists. Just plain AMERICANS, the ones that make our country work. Congress, who used to think they were the people's masters, have been disabused of that notion. Congress got cucked, publicly. The pictures will remain. Respect for congress - zero.

The next time a member of congress, like this useless bitch, makes the airlines kick a paying passenger out of their seat so they can fly instead, the passenger should tell the member of congress to sit on the floor, the way they did when the AMERICANS came calling at the Capitol Building.

Congresswoman who ‘bumped’ passenger from flight plays the race card

Sheila Jackson LeeAP

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, who was accused by a United Airlines passenger of bumping her from a first-class seat, said in a Twitter screed on Tuesday that she believes the incident is all about race.

“Since this was not any fault of mine, the way the individual continued to act appeared to be, upon reflection, because I was an African American woman, seemingly an easy target along with the African American flight attendant who was very, very nice,” the Texas Democrat wrote in a post. “This saddens me, especially at this time of year given all of the things we have to work on to help people.”

“But in the spirit of this season and out of the sincerity of my heart, if it is perceived that I had anything to do with this, I am kind enough to simply say sorry,” Jackson Lee continued. “But as an African American, I know there are too many examples like this all over the nation.”

Jean-Marie Simon, 63, said she was tossed out of her first-class seat on a Houston-to-Washington, DC, flight Dec. 18 to make way for Jackson Lee.

The teacher from Washington, DC, said in a Facebook post two days later that she saw a uniformed United employee pull Jackson Lee from the priority boarding line and escort her to a first-class seat before any other passengers got on the plane.

When Simon went to board with her first-class ticket, an agent said it wasn’t in the system. Another United attendant told her that united.com had changed her reservation an hour earlier and upgraded another passenger to her seat.
Simon later learned the congresswoman ended up in her seat.

But Jackson Lee, in her tweets, said she did “nothing wrong.”

“I asked for nothing exceptional or out of the ordinary and received nothing exceptional or out of the ordinary. I proceeded to take my seat and work on legislative issues on my way to Washington,” she posted.

Jackson Lee said she heard that the woman had “canceled her own flight.”

“I noted that this individual came toward me and took a picture. I heard later that she might have said ‘I know who she is,’ ” she wrote.

She said she hopes the airline makes everything right with Simon.

A United spokesperson said that the airline apologized to Simon and offered her a $500 voucher for another flight.

But Simon said that’s not correct.

“United has not apologized to me,” Simon told The Post in an email Tuesday. “A low ranking employee responding to an online customer complaint apologized on the phone, in his individual capacity. He also said he would send my complaint up the chain at United. To date, I have not heard from United.”

She said she did get the voucher, on Dec. 18 when the airline canceled her ticket, but after she protested the gate agent’s offer of a $300 voucher.

U.S. lawmakers say police downplayed threat of violence before Capitol siege

https://www.reuters.com/article/idUSKBN29D0N9 (https://archive.vn/Hd7uu)
Excerpt:
A day after the historic security breach of the iconic domed building that houses the U.S. House and Senate, lawmakers told harrowing tales of their escapes from grave danger in the deadly mob assault that many say was incited by Trump.
Exaggerate much? It wasn't a SEAL team raiding the Bin Laden compound.
