I know there's a Trump thread in the Prospering Grounds but honestly every president has been a lolcow since I've been old enough to pay attention. Maybe a Community Watch general for POTUS where every living Cow in Chief can be documented - complete with crossovers. Bill Clinton is a sex pest, George W. Bush is bordering on schizocow, Barack Obama is just Bush II with a thin veneer of geek (horrorcow?) and Trump is just a normal lolcow. Biden's a horrifying hybrid sex pest-schizocow due to the senility. I guess that'd make Hillary Clinton an orbiter.

I'm not a connoiseur of water filters but this whole thing seems obviously set up, at least to some degree. Maybe a few insiders organized dumb people to do it. I think for Trump's case there have been really dumb fanatics following him and doing crazy shit based on their interpretations of his tweets. Look at how Lin Wood is acting crazy and what happened on Wednesday.

Personally though I think this is going to set a bad precedent for things to come especially with the CCP and Islamic Terrorists still having a platform. It's going to be unprecedented times for the Internet and it looks dark.

EIC basically rolled up and found anyone in the region with even a tenuous claim to power who was willing to give them economic free reign and willing to play the game their way. They then used brought the technology & expertise gained from nearly a full millenia of near constant war to bear to support that guy and enthrone him.

The end result was good for the EIC, decreasingly less great for the British government, good to the people in power who were playing ball, and... somewhat of a mixed bag for the rest. Generally you were safe from random murder, but your local industries that weren't raw resource extraction or artisans mostly completely imploded.

Unironically this. I was thinking in his "concession" speech that he should have taken responsibility for the actions of the boomerwaffen. He should have denounced the act but not the people involved. What they did really wasn't that bad anyway and the only reason why congress are pressing this so hard is because they embarrassed. Embarrassed that they looked like a bunch of pussies cowering literally under the seats.

Yes they would have gone after him both (R) and (D) alike, but at least half of that lot will anyway and the other half has its romneys. I never thought trump cared about the public (no politician does btw), but I always thought he cared about his image. Throwing his supporters under the bus just set that image on fire. Hell doing it and then blowing his brains out would have gone reasonably well. I suppose he might have done it for his family, shame really.
