I think they're basically going all-in, and trying to destroy the conservative populist movement before it can regroup. I strongly believe that it's a combination of gloating (lmao banning Ben Garrison) + backroom talks with the DC establishment.

The problem is that it squanders the momentum they had in dividing-and-conquering the conservatives, who were split upon the Capitol Hill incident. This massive censorship event gives conservatives a real existential enemy, real martyrs, and makes them realize that the Biden presidency will not be the 'return to normalcy' that it's been touted as.

Moreso, it alarms some moderates and even a few progressives who see what the road is leading down to.

Sorry, I fucked up that post. I don't believe anything he says about special forces taking her laptop at the capital, and was talking about his claims about the server in Germany.

For the German servers, they can't have the glowies get it. Or they could but it'd be dumb to do so, because you're now letting anyone watching know who your people are. And as they are ununiformed spies on foreign soil, they could be arrested by the german police and the server inspected with no diplomatic blowback. However the server was in a DOD data center, so you send (unarmed) uniformed Army personal (who have the security clearances required by any military computer-toucher) to collect the server like they do with any DOD server and ship it back for destruction. If Germany tries to get their hands on the server by fucking with uniformed military personnel, they would effectively be declaring war.
