It saddens me that it's taken this long for people to finally say that enough is enough, but at least it's happening. What did these tinpot dictators think was going to happen if they kept shutting everything down? Eventually people will get restless, and when their demands aren't heard through the regular channels, they'll resort to other measures. These so-called "leaders" should be thanking their lucky stars that their heads haven't ended up on pikes (in Minecraft).
On a side note, I donated blood a couple weeks ago, and my coof antibody test came back positive. I've not been sick at all, minus a brief period where I just had a little throat tickle that cleared up with some chamomile tea after a day, and I just assumed that was allergies. So either it was a false positive or that really was the extent of my coof experience. At any rate, if my blood actually does have antibodies, they'll be using those to treat other coof patients, so that's neat.
As a PSA, if you know you've had the Wu Flu, consider donating blood. Those antibodies are very helpful to help patients with severe cases, and an injection probably helped my pastor's wife get over her infection quickly; she's already back to normal after being infected a couple weeks ago. I trust an antibody infusion way more than these vaccines.
I also mentioned my positive test to my friend group, and they immediately went into full-on sympathy mode. You'd think I told them I had full-blown AIDS or stage 4 cancer or something, they were acting like I was literally on death's door. Never mind that I'm perfectly healthy now, I never felt sick at all, and the antibody test only confirmed I'd come into contact with it at some point in the last two months, it was all "oh god I'm so sorry" and shit. One of them is still convinced the coof can do long-term organ damage, but I've long since given up trying to tell him otherwise.
Also, this doesn't need to be said, but fuck Cuomo.

Lets say 10-20 years from now, we are (hopefully) in a post-COVID world and we look back on what a shitshow this all was. They'll point out Trump's "hysteric and racist" border shutdowns with China and the EU that was backed by those damn Fox News people and then they'll show you Republican governors like Mike DeWine and I'm sure plenty other Republican governors who made hysteric statements at some point in 2020 or 2021. If they're smart, they'll argue that Donald Trump knew the virus wasn't dangerous yet did nothing to restrict his fellow Republicans like Mike DeWine from destroying the economy. If you point out all the Democrats who did the same and worse, they'll say "well only some Democrats were that bad and it was because they were centrists who worked with Donald Trump, like look at that bipartisanship governor Whitmer did!" and then your claim will be marked as "fake news" and then banned as dangerous misinformation.
And this will be the official narrative, just like how the Iraq War was all Bush and the Republican's fault even though plenty of Democrats voted for it or how the Republicans worked to put black people in jail even though Clinton (both of them) and Biden were huge fans of dealing with those "superpredators."

for context, germany went into lockdown around december 10th "for a month", and everybody was strangely cool with it completely fucking up christmas, new years eve and the most important season economically. then, after the numbers of course didn't go down because we're still right in the middle of fucking flu seasons, not only did the government decide to extend the lockdown, but also up it's severity (now you're only allowed one visitor not part of the household for example, as if that's gonna do anything).
this was last week, and suddenly everybody is making a surprised pikachu face "what do you mean extended lockdown? companies can't handle it, we really have to open again now!!1", like people seriously expected turning december into fucking nothing will totally defeat the virus right when the calendar says 2021.
never mind flu season goes on till at least march, if not may. get ready for four more months of this because MUH NUMBERS.
it seems everybody completely missed that the shit last year happened around march-april, towards the end of flu season. of fucking course numbers will go down, lockdown or not. when you start lockdowns in early december, how long do people expect it's gonna take this time?
and don't get me started on all the dumb shit that's not even mandated by law simply because people are fucking retards. one supermarket over here now has a strict "shopping cart only" policy (even when there are less than 5 people in the whole building), because apparently only touching your groceries 2 times is ok, but holding it turns them into superspreaders. or maybe a cart makes people keep their distance - nevermind people constantly come closer than the 1.5 meters with or without it (there's simply no way to keep your distance even with the mandated number of customers because parts of the market's laid out like shit). not even sure they clean the handles regularly. but at least the loudspeaker and screens keep constantly blaring "keep our distance, protect yourself and others yadda yadda".
it's like watching a movie with abysmal shit tier writing, except it's reality.

Unfortunately they are not. Their financial interests are still very powerful even after David Rockefeller died at the age of 101 (!) back in 2017. They're a nasty bunch of local oligarchs who have their fingers in many, many pies. They aren't quite Rothschild level but they're one of the most powerful families in the world.
