I wonder if her therapist and dietician know that she is 450+ pounds (at 5’1) and has all of the co-morbidities that she does? Did they do a complete medical intake with requesting dr records or are they taking Chantal’s word at face value?
Espousing intuitive eating and not recommending dieting is something that may be ok if you are 10-30 lbs overweight and have an eating disorder. But when you are 300 lbs overweight (bc let’s be honest, at 5’1, Chantal’s healthy weight should be less than or right at 150 lbs max) and have at least THREE if not FOUR health issues that need to be controlled with diet and exercise (diabetes, fatty liver, high blood pressure and high cholesterol).
I honestly don’t see how any reputable doctor, therapist or dietician would think it’s ok to just “ease into things” at this stage.

canada's media is either piped in from america, or friendly to our government at the moment so the stories from the US are what every newspaper, news show, and radio leads with. It lets canadians feel smug and distract them from things our actual government is fucking up.

Honestly, we follow US politics for entertainment (and recently for the horror). Peetz, on the other hand, follows it because it’s the only thing in his life (except for the dolls, the furrys and his rape fiction) that gives him meaning in life. On twittter he has an identity and a purpose. He can be the brave and heroic supporter of sj issues who selflessly denounces his white male supremacy to stand beside the little people.
We certainly keep a very close eye on the Russian bear in my neck of the woods. When Putin finally decides to take over the world, my tiny nation will literally be no more than a pit stop on the way. That’s why we’re all seriously hoping for our American friends to get their s... together.

She's so bafflingly retarded. She still doesn't understand that at this point her weight isn't what she should be mainly concerned about. And to be completely honest and objective, it's too late for her to turn back the tide and undo all the damage she caused to herself. Gawd, she is so fucking stupid. Has anyone ever observed that before? Like really dumb on all levels.
This post is a classic example. She never reads a whole book. She struggles through the forward. She had an identical post for the Ghost Doc's book. She waxed rhapsodic over the forward, posting random quotes, and gushing "This book, already!" Then she chucked it before she even made it to chapter one.
No wonder she loves this quote. It suggests that diets are punishment; it even uses the word "punitive" (which I doubt she recognizes as a variant of "punish", but we'll give her the benefit of the doubt just once)
Then there is the dumbness and delusion of how she is reading that quote. In Clotso's case, there are no "years and years of failed dieting" In order to fail something, you have to actually attempt it. In all these years, she has never attempted a diet even once, no matter what she will tell you. Half of the time she announces a diet, she has a plate of raw carrots (with dip of course) to prove the diet, and then within no more than six hours, she is back in line at McDonald's. The rare few times when she has kept a diet up for weeks, it was all a sham and a scam; she herself has admitted to gorging herself off camera and lying to her beloved audience of "friends".
Finally, there is the idiocy of what she hopes to achieve. Intuitive eating, if it even is a thing (I call it hogwash myself), clearly does not work for our fat friend. Her idea of intuitive eating is basically, "I am craving three different kinds of cake. So I will buy three cakes, and have a little sliver of cake today, and then little slivers of cake for the next three months until the cakes are gone" The cakes are never seen again, unless Clotso looks in the toilet after depositing another bowlful of wet shit.
She is attracted to intuitive eating because it is called intuitive eating. The same book, without altering its content, could be renamed "intuitive dieting" and she would hate it.
Meanwhile, as a veteran Chantal watcher, I concur with everyone else who has noted that she has never looked worse in her life, and her mental deterioration is really getting noticeable (thanks to the psychotic mess she lives in). She can read her stupid Forward and quote it all she wants, but she is on the road to nowhere. Godspeed, ya shit-stained blubberhead.

Forgive my lateness re: the frosting. Everyone is jumping the gun here. I know when I bake a cake, the first ingredient I buy is the frosting! How else would you do it? And once I've obtained the frosting and stated that I will make cake, I MUST bake it immediately, regardless of whether I know I have the other ingredients. What a goddamn moron.
