Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

It seems to be a law of nature: whenever you hear someone talking about needing to remove "stigma" from something, at least nine times out of ten they're some virtue-signalling scumbag who wants to dismantle some vital social safety mechanism while patting themselves on the back for being "compassionate" while doing it. Fuck those assholes.

It's not even partially fear - it's just business, a strategy for them. They whipped up a gigantic narrative about racism (despite America not getting any more racist in the last few years) to drive people to the voting booths and it clearly worked. This after several other failed narratives (Donald Trump rigged the 2016 election {don't worry they aren't riggable now tho}, Donald Trump pisses on Russian prostitues for fun, Donald Trump is a gay lover of Vladimir Putin, and so on) they found one that "worked". This election wasn't just an election - it was a "battle for the soul of America - do you want to be a huge racist who hates brown people?"

Most "normal" people are aware that racism isn't a huge deal in America, but classism absolutely is. Black/Brown/Mexican/White/Asian/whatever doesn't matter, but money talks. Literally 50% of the country has 98% of all money (which means there's 50% of broke motherfuckers sharing 2%) who keep stirring up racism as a distraction. There's a reason that Black Lives Matter has billions in contributions from huge companies - they benefit from the chaos.

This is as inevitable as it is dangerous. Impeachment is going to become a political weapon that both sides use frequently now. Furthermore, and even scarier, if half the country will always have cause to think a president is illegitimate, (and there are plenty of reasons to think that about Biden) then mass-scale political violence (the kind that makes the capitol "riot" look like a polite disagreement between friends) will also become inevitable.

‘Road Block’ Special: All Three Broadcast Networks to Air Primetime Biden Inauguration​


The three major TV networks are reportedly joining forces to air a primetime special of Joe Biden’s inauguration-day festivities on January 20, creating a “road block” special that is expected to preempt regularly scheduled shows and saturate the airwaves with the event.

ABC, CBS, and NBC will carry the broadcast, though Fox isn’t expected to air the special, according to a report in Variety. Hollywood producers Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner will lead the telecast, after working on the Democratic National Convention last year.

With Weiss and Kirshner on board, celebrity talent is expected to play a role in the televised event, but Variety said no names have been revealed yet.

Variety said the special would be 90 minutes to two hours in length and would feature remote performances as well as other possible highlights, such as an outdoor “first dance” with Joe Biden and Jill Biden, as well as fireworks.

With COVID-19 mask and social distancing recommendations still in place, it remains unclear what form the festivities will take. Past inaugurations have featured several formal balls, though they are highly unlikely to take place this time.

Variety reported that Fox is reluctant to join the broadcast because it would mean preempting The Masked Dancer, its spinoff of The Masked Singer.

Biden’s swearing-in is expected to take place at noon on January 20. President Donald Trump has already confirmed that he won’t be in attendance.

I think the best tactic is to say they're going to show up, don't show up, but Antifa does and then they fight with the police. It's not going to change anything since news won't report on that, but at least it's funny to watch.

I have zero faith in this woman to fry an egg, much less kickstart a viable impeachment and trial.

Mark my words, she will be squeezed out, primaried, and/or marginalized within the GOP, it will not be funny. She doesn't realize that she's making her own skeleton closet by virtue of being a federal politician, same as everyone else there (which is part of why decorum even matters in Congress), except unlike everyone else whose skeletons are intellectual and difficult to understand, hers will be the likes of "i am an active conspiracy theorist that wastes the little guy's tax dollars and embarasses my own political party, making it more difficult for us to accomplish anything". She will find no support from her party, and the whips won't even need to twitch their fingers to make sure of that.
